People going “Dragoon sucks DPE is better” have zero sense of context. DPE would be absolutely terrible in SEFK/Yubel format especially after his best material got banned and Bystials dropped. There is a reason why nobody uses DPE anymore besides HERO. Dragoon meanwhile can win games on his own if he allowed to pop off in the right decks that stuff in the package. Omni, multi pops, burn, and high attacks on top of both destruct and target protection built in. He just has way less outs in general right now.

Predaplant enables every deck to have, along side their build board, a 3000K beat stick, untargetable and immune to destruction, an omni negate which raises its attack by 1000 permanently and an effect which allows him to pop a monster and deal burn damage, up to the amount of normal monsters used, which is normally two. And you get that for what? Using two bodies to special summon predaplant, paying measly 2000 Lp and not being allowed to special summon afterwards, after you have already made your board? I hope you see the problem now.
🤦♂ Dragoon has been unbanned in OCG, which means it has a high chance of being unbanned in Master Duel. The game in the video is not Master Duel, it is a simulator very similar to it.
