Thank you for sharing your videos with us. They are beautifully made. I appreciate your work very much. I live in Switzerland and last summer (2020) Verzasca was soooo full of Swiss tourists because no one was very keen on travelling to a foreign country. So they all travelled to this beautiful place to bath in the river and get a tan on those giant rocks. Greetings from Zurich :)
So I am lucky enough to travel to CH twice a year (except you know). Watched all your CH videos and have come to the conclusion that one of the great events/sights I have missed would have been seen you guys there. I have seen a lot of CH videos by a lot of people and they all lack the best part of your videos. You.
I’ve been to Switzerland 3 times and really love this country. Wish to visit again with my kids in the future and would love to have a van to drive around like you guys. Thank you for showing so many beautiful please to us💕💕
Oh wow, 3 times, that's great. Hope you get to visit again soon, with your family. There are plenty of campervans and RV's for rent here. Would highly recommend it!
We will visit the UK, but we're not planning on leaving mainland Europe at the moment. In December suddenly the borders with UK got closed off and people were stuck there for a while. We will probably stick to the EU for now and not go to places where we need to take a boat etc. Hopefully the situation will change soon and we can get to the UK and other places.
Looking forward to seeing your other videos, there are so many countries I would love to visit in Europe and I really enjoy watching your travel videos which showed interesting places that travelers normally won’t visit. Enjoy your trips and stay safe☺️
😃This is an Insanely Beautiful place!!! Crazy stunning rivers, and those massive boulders are truly cinematic quality. You guys must have so many more drone shots you couldn't add. Wow And the climate changed so quickly. No snow then snow. Then popcorn 🥰 Perfect. Great episode guys, James and Kim
Thanks guys! How are you doing over there? Yes, it's difficult to make a pick for the best drone shots. We should do an hour long special with all drone shots of Switzerland haha.
Your shots are amazing, I really feel like I could be watching a proper made-for-tv documentary at times, especially with the sweeping drone shots following you or the van as you're moving around. Don't stress about the upload time, I think most people will watch the videos anyway, I know I will ^^
I’ve been to the Hoover Dam outside of Las Vegas a couple of times. Of course we had to take the “dam tour” with all the “dam” puns you could stand. They are amazing feats of architecture and engineering!

I’m happy to see you liked Vale Verzasca. It seems like you picked the best time to visit, with nice weather and almost no tourists. 😀 Awesome! Btw, if you liked this valley, you should also visit Soča valley if the road ever takes you to Slovenia in the future.
Switzerland is full of amazing views! It made me feel like I went to Switzerland through your channel (15:17 The background picture of the computer desktop is Dragon and Tiger Pagodas in Taiwan!!)
Thanks ;) Switzerland just keeps surprising us. The Dragon and Tiger Pagoda was right next to our apartment in Kaohsiung, where we lived for 2 months. Really loved that place.
So Grand, peaceful, beautiful nature...I was waiting for my bowl of fresh air since yesterday ☺ ...Cabin fever 🤒...Switzerland is so expensive😒 Doing it with a van is such great way of cutting the cost and being able to fully enjoy whats on offer... Thank you Bisous Sabrina 🇬🇧

I’ve been patiently waiting for this one. So glad you went up this valley! You went to every spot that I have on our list to visit (except for one hike). Hope to follow in your footsteps this summer. You mentioned Lord of the Rings-the Lauterbrunnen Valley, close to where you were in Grindlewald was actually Tolkien’s inspiration for the setting of The Hobbit. Where to next? If you’re staying in Switzerland a while longer I can give you some suggestions that are slightly off the beaten path.
It was really beautiful indeed! We didn't know Lauterbrunnen was the inspiration for Tolkien. Makes sense now that we've seen the landscapes in Switzerland. We're current in the Flims/Chur area in Graubunden, after Graubunden we will probably head north and go from Zurich area to Geneva with a bunch of stops in between. Tips are always very welcome!

Hi, Naick & Kim. So as not to take up too much space I’m going to give you suggestions bullet style with a name & brief description. We always splurged on using the train as my husband would not be nearly as patient driving as Naick appears to be when he doesn’t speak the language 😊 The Swiss Pass gave us unlimited public transportation plus access to most museums. I tend to prefer small towns & villages over the bigger cities, and like walks and looking at different architecture over museums. There are some places that I love that look to be outside your route so I’ll just list them here: Appenzell (small town, quaint customs) & St. Gallen--larger town, the old town (Altstadt) known for it’s oriels and a beautiful abbey library; Stein am Rhein-quaint medieval walled town on the Rhine; Basel-my favorite city along with Luzern, my aunt lived in Basel. The following places may be more along your route: Aarau-larger city but the Altstadt is unique to Switzerland because of the decorative eaves of the buildings Solothurn-pretty little town; quirky because the number 11 is special with its architecture; beautiful skyline viewed from across the Aare River; beautiful walk along the Veranaschlucht-Einsidel outside of town Murten-a nice small town where you can walk the ramparts for beautiful views; nearby is Avenches where there is a Roman amphitheater St. Ursanne-beautiful little township Gruyeres-a tourist spot, but it is a great little village atop a small hill. Can you say cheese? Nearby is Broc where the Cailler chocolate factory is located. Tours are 15chf apiece, you used to be able to sample all the chocolate you wanted, but don’t know if that’s still the case. Orbe-the most precious little town with the friendliest inhabitants we’ve encountered in Switzerland. Everyone greets you with a cheery “bonjour!” Climb the round castle tower for some great views. Roman mosaics nearby. Really off the beaten path but one of my fondest memories. The views across Lake Geneva with the Swiss vineyards in the foreground and the French Alps in the background have their own spectacular beauty. My top places: Vevey, St. Saphorin, Nyon Montreaux is nice, but more upscale, not exactly my style. The Castle of Chillon is really cool, don’t think it’s open yet. I’ve not been to Lausanne but I hear it’s lovely. My husband would want you to get a Cailler gimpfel (pastry with Cailler chocolate inside) from the local Coop in the French speaking areas 😊 Me? Just give me my chocolate straight--a Frey, Cailler, or Valor bar. Looking forward to your next posting!
