I never realized it, but after hearing the story for a second time it has come to my attention that Grandfather Spider believes that we are from the Spiral. He is unaware of our origins.
I like how you’re initially led to believe he was an ally, only for him to take his opportunity of freedom to steal away your victory over Morganthe and reveal himself as the truest threat to the entire spiral.
According to Voices of the Spiral. (A project for finding Wizard101 and Pirate101 actors) Spider's VA also voiced as Ol' Fish Eye, Emmett, and Wing Chun in Pirate101. That's quite the range here. I'm impressed.

Thank you for the video! Most videos about w101 are just news and gameplay. It's noce to see some story as well. My favorite moment is the one with The Rat since although he is a villain, that line about "being stung by defeat but you may yet transform your frustation into greater strenght" actually sounded like some nice advice 😅. Idk, maybe I'm misinterpreting the line but for me it actually sounds like good advice.
