Story time! Once when I was trying to host a roleplay a Luna appeared. They did the normal stuff like *kills* and what not as well as saying stuff like "I WANT ORGANS" and *eats brain*. This was my either my first or second Luna encounter so I didn't know what to do and just politely asked tyem to stop. Then the deputy, Fawnleg, had an amazing response and starting acting like a Luna towards the Luna and using stuff like "the power of friendship". Soon everyone else joined in with it and eventually the 'Luna' revealed themselves to actually be a pretty experienced player. We thanked them for the laugh and they joined the roleplay. That was my favourite part of that roleplay. Moral of the story, if you ever encounter a Luna, use the power of friendship on them and have a good time.

I once had some unexp players stealing food from the fresh kill pile, it really annoyed me, I nicely asked them if they could not steal the prey, they ignored me, one even said “Cry about it.” Remember WCUE players, always know that a fresh kill pile and a medicine shelf are an unexperienced player’s favorite hunting ground.
Now I remembered one of my favorite roles, I gave myself the nickname "Herb Guardian" and I wrote in my bio that I make sure that no one wastes herbs. I sat and went to the herb storage menu and stayed there until I got kicked out (I agreed with the med). I only allowed med and med app. Nobody ever took anything (and there were a few trolls)
one thing that annoys me the most is that, most exp mentors don't even train or teach their apprentice, like Ive seen so many meds test the kits and see which one is going to be their app. and they always test us or them by asking them about what the herbs look like, what they are used for, and where to find them! like bro! They are JUST kits! they have barely even left the camp yet!!! and they can always copy and paste off of google! and some mentors ive roleplayed with, they literally expect their apps to know everything right the moment they receive their new name! like today, my mentor in wcue was like: "Do you smell this? It's a rabbit scent! Go follow it! I expect you to bring it back to me dead!" and i just received my new name!
FR KITS ARE SO ANNOYING SOMETIMES like, i was an app and a kit comes up to me like, "be my mom, mommy" and im like, "no thanks im an app i cant be your mom sorry" and then they just dont understand, AND STARTS SPAMMING ME AND FOLLOWING ME AND MY MENTOR AROUND
That happened to me but in a different game. In it i am an adult with kids but don't have room for more. I'm peacefully doing my rp and go to the hospital and some kid is like "can U adopt me" and I say that I can't because I have no more room and they start following me everywhere trying to get me to be her mum and keeps entering my car and asking why I have no room. I did make people entering the car friends only later
The part where the apprentice thinks they are better medicine cat is actually relatable for me because I was the medicine cat and there was this one apprentice that was healing everyone and they were so disrespectful to me-it’s just annoying☠️☠️☠️☠️💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Also when your'e hosting a rp and one of these things happen: - People advertize their rp right next to yours - People join rp despite it being closed - People ask for closed roles and get angry when they don't get them - People in the rp let others in or give roles (which is kind of rude, i get they think they are trying to help but they just cause hosts more stress) - People join your rp and then promptly leave without telling you so you dont know weather to reopen their role - People taking roles that don't exist and refuse to leave your rp (if it happens i just tell everyone to block and DNI them) - People trying to roleplay with you whilst your'e advertizing or nonspec people who just follow the roleplayers around despite being in a rp (please, if your'e speccing, make sure to preface that, people might get confused and rp with you when your'e not even in the rp)
Idk if anyone’s still watching this a year later but I need opinions on how annoying cats who sit in the corner are because I’m that person because I’m too nervous to talk to anyone lol
I hate it when people act like they are injured 24/7. When I'm med, the kits are OK but the APP's... They have seizures, run out of camp, stop breathing in their sleep, and so much more. I was once a Med Apprentice and when I was in app den, 2 people were dying at a time in the roleplay and in 30 everyone was dead I had to run to the Meds den every 5 minutes for some person and even with the best treatment they die. This tends to happen alot, specifically Riverclan. And when the Med suddenly disappears I tend to understand why-
If somebody is stealing your herbs (there is an example in the video) just open the herbs menu (open the herb shelf) and the person stealing won’t be able to get the herbs bc if somebody is in the herb shelf nobody else can interact with it as it was supposed to only be used by one player. *Edit: there are some other ways to get rid of them, but I think this is a bit more effective

One time I was in a ShadowClan roleplay, then 3 trollers all major roles + same suffix came and started saying things like “We’re not trolling we’re claiming our true land” and stuff like that - so the rp moved to windclan to avoid them but guess what! They followed us! So the remaining players in the rp (including me) all fled to the barn, closed both doors and ran to the second level and hid from them out of sight, we all watched the doors from a safe distance Incase they followed us again, but then they left and we went our separate ways! 2. A thunderclan rp was being hosted and 2 ppl were fighting over leader it was funny, then one left and started a new rp saying “Have fun with your unexp leader” keep in mind I was spectating so I was watching the chat. 3. I was leader in ShadowClan and then this one person with no name or bio came up to the rock during a meeting I had over a ceremony and started going “I’m the real leader don’t listen to Rooted-Star!” And practically interrupted the whole rp that we had to pause because of them, soon enough they left but already most of the clan evaporated into other clans or left. 4. I was medicine cat per usual (my favorite role to be) and this person kept stealing herbs and yada yada, the usual, but like, this kept going on for like most of the rp and they wouldn’t stop, the rp was already kinda dead so I just left. 5. Not really unexp thing but one rp I was medicine cat (keep in mind there was a prophecy and a lot going on which I’m used to at this point) but I had like patients in the med den, a queen about to be kitting, and a cat dying and everyone was like “OMG SAVE THE ____” in all caps and when I did the burial meeting no one was paying attention at all! So I left :] Moral of the story: Ignore people like these otherwise your rp will be ruined! (Unless it’s already ruined) X3

Ill explain my own point of view from experiences from both sides, of being one, and on the receiving end of a player doing so. Playing one can be- fun, in a way, you feel like youre above the world and thats nice to wind down. Then people go and ruin it, because well, from a receiving end, power playing can be outright annoying, or even discouraging. Say for example in a fight, if someones power playing, and the one thats fighting a power player, despite that: realistically, they wouldve won. They lose because youre power playing, it can cause a multitude of things ranging from being angry, quitting the game, leaving the server, or even quitting roleplaying all together. Especially if thats an introductory to roleplaying, its discouraging, and makes someone feel like theyll never be good or strong enough or hell, even confident enough to be a roleplayer. Could make good roleplayers not do major roles, because like I, feel like they arent good enough or will be a let down for that role. Now, that is different from individual roleplays, if you were in your own roleplay, with your own friend, with power playing being purposefully implemented. Then, its good, nothing wrong, but be careful of others feelings regardless. Its like magic school roleplays, its unrealistic and annoying if a cat has magic inside of a normal clan roleplay, but all good if its in a magic based roleplay like magic school. Now- reporting regardless of being a luna, power playing, and all that, is too far. Too mean really, they, not you specifically, could be young and not know. Informing them is a useful way, if they ignore you. Block them. There is no reason to report someone unless they are actually doing something reportable, like heat. I hope this helps! Its like magic school roleplays, its unrealistic and annoying if a cat has magic inside of a normal clan roleplay, but all good if its in a magic based roleplay like magic school. Now- reporting regardless of being a luna, power playing, and all that, is too far. Too mean really, they, not you specifically, could be young and not know. Informing them is a useful way, if they ignore you. Block them. There is no reason to report someone unless they are actually doing something reportable, like heat. I hope this helps! “Apps” or “apprentice’s” are cats who are 6-12 moons (months) meaning they are pretty young, they are in TRAINING. They are not “good crpers” if they immediately know EVERYTHING first training session
