Do you protect the side mounted cameras with anything? Great position for goondi's to go flying past (to the rear of front tyres). Love the variation of vehicles, terrain and lack of right-boot-driving. Well, for the best part. :)
nice video guys.as If driving through the creek fast on the rocky bottom of creek bed is damaging the environment . I would like to know how. other than the water is being splashed further away from the creek and then trickles back in. it's like save our trees eat a koala today.
Been involved with 4 wheel Driving for 30 years trying to keep tracks open. People don't realise how much this video has stirred up the fishing community in this area. Been told that the vehicles compact the river bottom and it upsets the fish breeding cycle. These guys have the Government ear so if we do the wrong thing it will get shut off.We can cross it at the designated track river crossings anyway so its no big deal.Just don't have to drive up the river. Preserve our favourite past time by doing the right thing. If we respect their past time they will respect ours.
Sound advice/word of caution.....on the hill they were all climbing up (properly..and probably all with rear lockers) you do NOT want to "gun it" at a "rocky section" like what was near top of this hill....by gunning it you will "bounce" and in a lot of cases can tip to side from bounce and roll it! Difference between life and death. If your rig is not equipped to slowly climb up "with authority" you must stop and put in reverse and gradually go back down hill.
Yes, that's correct what you're saying. In saying that, we know this hill pretty good, driven it many times over the years, so you develop the feel of how much you can or can't "gun it" if you know what I mean.
Mate the Rubicon has the molar 2" lifted coils with 50 mm longer front shocks and bilstien 5160 rear shocks. The tyres are Nitto Trail Grappler M/T in 295/70/17
i am planninh on doing this track soon as I live locally to it. problem I have is that i don't yet have a snorkel.. is one required if the creek is average depth? or is there an alternate route? cheers
Some people have no clue what they're on about. If they know this area, they'd know that the river part is part of the track and it has a rocky bed. The only damage possible is to the vehicles.
Agree with Knox paterson - you guys are helping shut the 4wd community out of lovely places. We will all end up having to pay 4WD parks to use their facilities as nat parks etc will; be closed or have video surveillance. Grow up and tread lightly...
what is it that I did or said that makes me dump. all our buildings and infrastructure are built on the land where the vegetation and wild life once ruled but was killed or caged. so who can say what about the environment?
Very true, and it's still happening. Just look at the city expansions. Then we buy a new home in a new suburb that was just created after clearing all the trees and animals, then we sit behind the computer screen and whine about the environment, about things that actually have no effect on environment change.
+moesha pempengco the water you drink has been with many chemical products, it has been drinked by other animals and you know how it leaved their bodies(YES shit and pee) and you're drinking that. Water is in a closed circle so don't worry about that

+LROR Land Rovers Off Road Thank you for watching 👍 #1 fan ☺
nice video mates. you guys are actually living a life
Thanks mate, we're trying to. It's a bit hard though, I just did an 80-hour week LOL
Great video.
The Patrol should be sold in the U.S.A. What an awesome platform!
Yeah you're right, it should've been. What a miss by Nissan!!
I've never been a big fan of Nissan but, apparently, that is because the good vehicles aren't sold in the US. The Patrol has the looks and capability!
Great video guys.....my favourite is the silver Jeep Rubicon what a beast ;-)
Domenico Di Bartolo LOL, I like the white Patrol at 6:15 :)
How good are those Jeeps!! Wish there was a Ranger there but doubt it'd make it to the top.
One way to find out I guess. We need to find a Ranger willing to give it a go first LOL.

Thanks for watching once again. The camera sits inside a weatherproof case.
good job man
Thanks man 👍

Another person with common sense. Thumbs up mate. Thanks for watching and glad you liked the video.

You'll be fine without snorkel, even if it rained. Have fun.
Yeah, they appear to have closed it off now.
