Okay, so I watched the morning pages video on a different platform, and even though I didn't know about your channel, I assumed it had at least a million subscribers based on the quality of the content. I'm shocked that it only has 15K subscribers, so all I want to say is that you're awesome and the morning pages video was extremely helpful.
Your videos somehow showed up in my feed so I thought I would take a peek. What a treat - I like what you're doing and your art is quite lovely. Myself, I have made a very good living as an artist in Alaska, since 1984, and continue even today to live off the royalties from my art prints after relocating to Iceland. I have a few good friends who have also created a good life making art, so it is quite possible - just keep going. Your art career journey is not much different than my own, though we did not have computers to start out back then, or all the free social media advertising. I'm not sure I could/would start over and manage all the tech-media skills required but I do love making art on my iPad. I have to say though, there's nothing more satisfying like the feel of brush or pencil on real paper. So -congratulations to you for committing yourself to life as an artist - you won't be sorry. You have the right attitude and I support you fully in your efforts. Love what you do and then do what you love - the money will follow. It's a challenge at times but try and remember; it's totally about the process and not the product. Keep that in focus and you will stay inspired and go far. Bless..
Thank you for sharing! I really appreciate the encouragement and I'm glad you like my content and art! The internet and social media has opened up so many opportunities for artists now, though, I think a lot of artists wish they didn't have to try and manage it 😅. I fall into that "forgetting to enjoy the process" trap quite a bit, but I have gotten a lot better about it in the past year. For me, having a presence online where so many people like yourself can interact with my work has really helped me stay encouraged and motivated, so I appreciate your comment 🥰
I like your art, Leighann, and I really love your videos. You and your husband use great equipment and know all the lighting tricks. Very nice to watch. I prefer this format to TikTok, but that's just me. I know this takes a lot of work!
Thanks! We both have backgrounds in film so it definitely makes RUclips easier! It’s quicker to make tiktoks but I’m pretty committed to RUclips this year so fingers crossed I’ll be able to keep up with both 😁
Awwww I love your vibes , you have an authentic calming way of presenting yourself and your content , so people dont feel forced or pressured to reach something but simply inspired. I love your asthetics and am mezmorized by this "not from this earth eyes" I mean what the hell ?? :D Anyways please keep creating and a big YES to vlogs :) Greetings from Germany Love , Nefeli
Thank you so much Nefeli! I do my best to be authentic so I’m so glad it’s coming across that way too and that people feel inspired 😊 I’ll try to keep on with the vlogs!

Very cool! Appreciate the transparent look at an artist's life. So much goes into it
Your videos are really well made. I hope your channel grows.

You're making good videos especially when you add English subtitles. I'm learning and spending good time.
