For anybody who's curious I've done this twice and it does work pretty well on sticky note paper obviously I don't do the folds for the paws but I do do the leg details

Great video. I'm making this for my grandpa. He's in a nursing home with dementia and is always talking about his old (and deceased) German Shepherd named Wrangler. I figured a little Wrangler could keep him company whenever grandpa is in his room. This will bring a smile to his toothless face, I'm sure ^.^ Thank you for uploading.

This has to be the most complicated thing I've ever done, It took me 1 whole hour just to attempt to make the head and even that went wrong! When you were folding the head your hands went off screen and I got hysterical with laughter as I could not properly see where the hell it was folding to, in the end the not even half made head ended up screwed up on the floor....

you have the most delicate and careful hands I have ever seen.
There are some shepherds and other dogs that have darker heads and chests. You could use a darker color for the front and a lighter color for the body. Best of luck!

@YummySparkles1 I use standard origami paper which is 15 x 15 cm. But you can use any size as long as it is square. Best of luck!

The only thing I can really complain about is that you need 2 sheets of paper, but I understand there's no way around it. Very good tutorial!
I agree that you should use the pause button when you are making this. My main problem was the cuts in the video. They threw me off and made me think I missed something.
Very good! For a shorter version, you can stop around 8:00.
If anyone noticed, it didn't work cuz she completely changed the head. The legs were to the side, then she cut the ears, and after the legs were down.

Took me about an hour to do but finally finished! Easily the most stressful thing that's ever happened to me...
I am posting this before the video or attempting.
If you get messed up, go to a different video, go back to basics or just have someone else to do it.
ps, I'm not trying to roast anyone, just... people get so triggered over little paper squares, it's ridiculous...

Origami is the art of paper folding it does not require glue... unless ur bad at it

I successfully made the Sheppard dog it looked great but I had to use glue to keep it together, and I would appreciate if you put a list of things you need to make it at the beginning of the video.

This is brilliant, thank you :) The only thing I'd say is the initial Preparation Fold is easier to do if you fold the diagonals the other way, as these bend inwards for the fold :)

I'm not sure how to do the two inward folds at 7:20. When I flatten the folds, it folds the inside of the legs.

I'm just want to know.. What is this kind of origami called? The one that needs glue and scissor, and not just pure papers?
It's still origami, or the art of paper folding. Many forms require multiple sheets of paper and often glue.
There is another type called Kirigami which entails making cuts in a single piece of paper to make a design, but it's quite different.

Wow. Super difficult. My dad and I took at least an hour and a half, but a GSD came out! Thanks. Really great. Please try and slow down, show the prices a bit more in depth and keep the folding on screen. That made things difficult. How do you do it? :P
