New here. Amazing video! looking forward to more. I like your teaching style. You explain everything very clearly and slowly.
so supportive ! thankYOU
Good stuff, definitely trying this out!
Awesome thanks
Hit an open mat yesterday and EVERYONE was starting from seated guard. It was a problem for me. Will definitely implement this approach going forward 👍
amazing stuff
Love it
Nice I really like this. I felt like before you switched your hands there would have been a slick armbar on your left side the guy's right side. But maybe that's being greedy.
The People's Champ!
Will this can opener position with knee on the chest be legal in IBJJF?
TJ is the man!

I’m fed up with quick triangles from this position….. so I came here.
half guard, much easier to deal with than the open guards. and the one i would go to instead. you dont say. TT :(
That's like saying mount much easier position to deal with than half guard, the one i would go to instead. Am i missing something here? Cry.
Forcing half guard, and then passing from half guard is usually easier than just passing straight from open guard. It's not like saying "mount is an easier position", because establishing mount happens necessarily AFTER passing. It's a completely different step.
@@Gabriel-sm7ev hmm okk, i get what they mean now. Its like i come in all the way in a certain way, they will have to close their half guard, as its advantageous to do so, whilst not doing so will get their open guard passed.
