I grew up in Dominica. We lived above Pointe Michelle, and then moved to a small lime estate in the volcano above Soufriere. The tiny town of Galion just beyond our estate has now become very famous because of the beautiful views down over the ocean. The air was so thick with the lovely scent of limes. We sold our limes to El Rose.

Camping in Dominica? I don't know off hand. But being tropical, prepare for bugs! You might have good luck near Soufriere though.
