Thank you Rabbi Anava for this new lecture. Please, keep posting your current lectures. It is such a difficult time here, in Israel, for us. You are greatly needed. תודה
Rabbi changed me . Brought me back to Hashem after watching life after death video. since then I've watched hundreds of Rabbi videos. Alon Avana Rabbi Yoseph Misrachi and Rabbi Yaron Reuben etc.. read Torah everyday. I'm not a Jewish person. I'm Portuguese original.
I was I excited to see this pop up now! Just listened to a Class you gave on the parshah about the focus on and success of YITZCHAK digging wells and cultivating emunah. Things are so challenging all around. Can’t wait to listen. Please keep posting new lectures! Thank you!
What resonated most with me was when the Rabbi said once, something along the lines of, “What you know and hear holds no value unless you absorb it and put it into practice.” Sounds simple enough but that really changed and challenged my understanding of what I’m doing learning all of these things. I’m very thankful for the Rabbi, B’H.
Yes, Rabbi, only through the light of these teachings, we had the chance to discover the transformative power of the Torah-reminding us that the change for the better is possible, and that HaShem is ONE (Echad).. We are freed from society’s materialistic idolatry, imprisoning mentality, and habits. An incredibly radiant light ascends to the heavens with every soul touched and uplifted by these Torah lessons, which profoundly guide and transform us. With gratitude, we thank Rabbi Alon Anava for opening our eyes to this path. HaKadosh Baruch Hu. Shabbat Shalom.
Shalom Rabbi excellent shiur thank you very much Rabbi for sharing with us on line Shalom and Blessings to you your family and Atzmut team🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱💙💙💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Rabbi Anava I want you to know that your classes made me want to be a better person...a better Torah observant jew. Bec of your teachings I encorporarated many things into my daily "routine ". And it's just a beginning for me. I look forward to every video you post. Every video is like a drop of water that's penetrates deeper into my heart. Please post as many of your videos as possible 🥰

Rav, Thank God I have 2 beautiful teen daughters on the right derech, I have to say that your lectures over the years helped me to educate my daughters to stay on the derech. Your ability to help your listeners see the connection between a Torah lifestyle and a healthy Neshama is invaluable.( I was raised shomer shabbat, stopped being kosher and shomer shabbat in university and came back to it years later - with the help of your videos.)
Thank you Rabbi Anava. I just wanted to say I understand I have to initiate the process of doing teshuva and keeping Torah and doing the mitzvos, myself but if it was not for you and your amazing shiurim I would not be doing a quarter of what I am. You definately planted the seed...thank you!
Thank you Rav . Blessings from jerusalem . Love your teachings . It’s hash and true .😊. Gives me strength to continue this life . I think you were looking for the words “pros and cons .”
Shalom Dear Rabbi Anava! Oh my!!! It seems so long ago since your last new video was posted on YT, that today, it seems like ages have passed!! I have been pacing around my lil' house non-stop for 40(😸) days now, while rubbing my hands constantly, and with a furrowed brow I said some prayers and read some Tehillim (I could barely concentrate), and then I pleaded to HaShem to grant me a Peaceful night's Sleep! Why all the dramarama? Because it seemed like it had been way over 40-days- in-a-barn since you've posted a new shiur, so each day, I listened to a few of your older ones from back when your black beard had maybe 2-3 silver hairs peeking out! 😸 Yeah, Rabbi Anava, the anxiety I endured while waiting and hoping and waiting some more for the new week's Parasha/lesson had me beside myself. (This is Not to be taken seriously, by the way, except where I tell you.) While "waiting" for your latest video to be up and running, a tv commercial for a 🕐popped into my head from Waaay back in the day! In the ad, a man's calm voice says, "Minutes hang like hours... when someone is waiting for you," verrry slowly while a black & white picture of a sad, lonely, boy as he waits outside in the pouring rain for his neglectful, horrible, LATE, parent who, sure enough, is indeed wearing an ugly, old, unreliable, wore out, watch. 😂😂 I had a thought Decades ago that I stored away in my head that jumped right out in front of my eyes after I'd watched several of your older (6-7yrs) videos. My young mind stored it as: No matter how ancient a parasha, Torah or Tanakh, might be, and no matter when it was first set down in writing, it will, for Eternity, be relevant to all future generations!! 1,000s of yrs from now, Torah/Tanakh, et al will still be traditionally taught, studied, debated, laughed before it in the joy of new learning, and cried over it when the spiritual deluge overcame the reader! Tonight I was thrilled to find a brand new shiur on YT Finally; however, I found it "challenging" to relate at all to well-digging men in the ancient desert, except when the Philishtim (?) decided to cover Abraham's wells for reasons only they knew. Arabs today still choose the same old, self-destructive, macho-man, prideful, counter-productive, bassackwards, untruthful, face-saving, and outrageously mindless exhibitions of pretend-bravado, but exactly What have they Ever truly gained with all those theatrical exhibitions? I doubt even They know!!! 😂😂😂
I was waiting the whole time to hear what the conversation was Izaac and Abraham had. I think it was the moment when Izaac was to be put through the fire/sacrificed and Izaac asked his dad he sees the wood for the fire and the altar but where was the lamb? Abraham said God will supply the lamb Himself and Isaac simply accepted the answer. Needless to say his life was spared by an entangled goat. It was that very moment child sacrifice to the gods were made redundant because Hashem blessed Abraham without him having to sacrifice his only son. Abraham prophesied at that moment that Hashem would supply the sacrifice Himself, pointing to His son, the Messiah. Always a pleasure to listen to you.
Thank you!!! It possible to also also post chai Sarah...watched many from prior years....they were ALL GREAT. Would love yo listen tge current one as well
My children and I started keeping Shabbat 4.5 years ago because of your lectures, and saying Hamapil and keeping Rosh Chodesh and working on our middot -- it would take too long to write the whole list.
Toda Rabbi Anava! May HaShem bless you and keep you safe as well as your loved ones! Can we please have the author of the book? “Text and The Kabbalah?” 🙏🏻
חזק וברוך 🙌🏼 What an interesting shiur! So much information! The end of Esav was sad. He could have let his brother Yakov to be buried with peace... So are the desires of a human being as dangerous as Esav was?
When Torah Jews and righteous non-Jews leave this world, it will be in big trouble from Hashem! It won't go well for the non repentant and goers against. G_D bless Rabbi Anava and keep up the excellent work
Rabbi, your video about the horrible times we are about to live before the messiah comes has freaked me out. It's difficult to stay strong when thinking about what's coming.
I asked Grok how they knew where to dig wells this is what he said: Traditional and Observational Methods: Observation of Flora and Fauna: Certain plants (like willows or rushes) often indicate water near the surface because they thrive in wet conditions. Similarly, animal behavior, where they dig for water or gather in specific areas, can also hint at underground water sources. Topographical Signs: Low-lying areas, valleys, or places where water tends to collect after rain might suggest an underground aquifer. Natural Springs: Areas where springs naturally occur were prime locations for digging wells, as springs are outlets of underground water. Dowsing or Water Witching: Although more controversial and less scientific, dowsing involves using a forked stick, rods, or pendulums to supposedly find underground water. While many dismiss it as pseudoscience, it remains a traditional method in some cultures.
I was just recently wondering why there was so little in the Torah about Isaac. I have read how he and ishmael were arguing in the tent where Ismael was bragging about feeling the pain of the circumcision. But Ishemal didnt want to learn the ways of the YHVH. He spent no time at the academy of Shem and Eber. So Isaac replied back to Ishmael, why do you brag about this piece of flesh. I would give my life for YHVH. So he also was 37 years old and not a child as I grew up thinking. anyway that act of righteousness, brought about the Sacrifice where his own words would be tested. Isaac was so righteous at that point that he did not need any more testing. It seems also that he was blinded in seeing the bad of his son Esau ( who also cared not to study at the Yeshiva of Shem and Eber). perhaps at the adika he saw too much of God and was partially blinded which caused him to go blind earlier than normal as he got older? I like the importance of his wells which lasted and support Life. And Sarah was found by a well and Rebecca and Moses drove off the mean people and found ziphorrah at a well. I know the Jews probably have more on Isaac than this. I would like to know more about Isaac if there is anymore information out there. Hashem led me to this teaching as I had been wondering why so little is written about Isaac. this helped but there must be more. I was raised a gentile but started keeping torah or at least trying to keep torah. and then i found out I was actually Jewish by genealogy.

why was it necessary to have famine in יצחקs time, other than to show he can't leave Israel ?
Rome named the land Philistina Palestinia after Bar Kochba to try and erase Jewish land from the map
Did Avrohom really "have a business" ie was that for parnasah? I thought he did it as a chesed.
