I am going to be watching and liking all your videos from now on, Miss, because I was recently hired as a teacher and I initially applied as a TA, and I have no idea how to start since I don't have a degree in Education and the only thing I had was a short basic course in Teaching Assistance. They moved things up for me ever since the pandemic, and by August this year I have to prep myself, and to be honest, I am both anxious and excited. I overthink things and wonder if I am going to ever make out of this year alive (metaphorically speaking) and be a great teacher, but I guess my instincts will help me with this one. I am just fortunate to come across your channel. Cheers!

I would love the germs video! I teach Y1 (2nd year teaching) and keen to instil good habits to my new reception graduates
A germs lesson would be great. Can you do a video on how a day in your classroom would go? How you set up your class, the schedule and what happens throughout the day.

Hi there. This video was so useful to watch. I have just been offered a job in reception and it's my first year of teaching, I'm terrified as I have never worked in EYFS before. Can you please give some pointers for the first day of teaching. What activities would I do as I introductory welcome. I am truly scared!

I've just found out that my NQT year is in Reception, I'm both daunted and excited! I can not thank you enough for this video, I did most of my training in y6 and only 6 weeks in y1 and have been put into Reception!!! I have been trying to plan but failing as I don't understand the foundations- instead I shall be binge-watching your videos! Hahaha!

Hi, I started my teacher training on a SCITT course 2 weeks ago. I'm in a reception class and they've asked me to start teaching story time and circle time. I'm excited but also a little scared of the feedback from the teachers as they are so experienced and I have very little teaching experience. Any advice please?
Hi Charlotte, I hope things at school are going well since you wrote this comment. Please don't worry about other teachers as they know you are training! They wont expect you to be perfect, even experienced teachers aren't! Just enjoy spending time with the children and make sure you plan beforehand so you feel more confident when you start teaching. Good luck!

I'm going to teach reception after 10 years of teaching teenagers!!!! So it's a stark contrast for me and I'm anxious about whether I'll get it right. The way we speak to little kids is totally different to the way we speak to teenagers. Please please please, if you have any crucial advice or any "must-do's" please post them in your next vid. I've subscribed btw xxx
