My record with this deck starting from Platinum 1 is 48 wins and 15 losses. No shit. That spans mostly Saturday and Sunday of this weekend. Deck is a powerhouse of fun with plenty of removal and game ending combos turn 4. The whole package.
@@109968shadowboy All I can say is to play with it more, I’ve had to mulligan hands I’d otherwise keep due to ensuring hitting lands or to see if I can rip a vault for turn 2 to ensure ramp/lands/interaction. This meta is fast. Therefore I’m sure you know removal, a sweeper, or fast vault ramp is almost a must in most circumstances. I’m currently 79 wins 39 losses with this decklist. But honestly mono red going first unless the player is an idiot is almost impossible to win unless you have a vault, removal, tyrant, and can ramp into a turn 4 double tyrant gaining life and you auto block everything with the non token just for the card draw and life. The meta is rough man.

Another great video. I added a few enchantment removals because I didn’t have 4 Rex cards and it seemed to help with the discard decks and the class cards.
@@SlothMtg yeah when you saddle the vein ripper with calamity it procs off the sac, so if you pull both it's almost 26 damage even if blocked can be a nice oneshot :)
Sloth! Eternal Witness returns *ANY* target card from your graveyard to your hand, not just permanent spells. You can get back removal spells, sweepers, and card draw with her😍

I started playing MTG a few weeks ago and I'm about where you are now on the leaderboard thanks to a deck I found, but I haven't been able to rank any higher. I think I'm going to try this deck here.
If you want to hit mythic, go mono red (number 1# deck in standard video) - you will be at top ranks in the world in 5-10 hours :) I wouldn't focus on ranks too much, atm best decks that net highest winrates, are the ones that require the least skill to play, so it's mostly about spamming games with tier 1 aggro decks for hours, extremely boring time for me personally :) This one is a bit of combo deck, works well if you get combo, works bad if you don't - so not as consistent as aggro decks 🤷♂️🦥 Gl Bro, and welcome to magic!:)

Fun deck! Thabks for sharing it. Consider giving another look at Esper Control featuring 4xUrza's Sylex and 1xKaya again. I'm 42-22 with the deck so far. Urza's Sylex enters untapped perhaps you were thinking of Karn's Sylex when i last mentioned it. 7 mana but can be spread over 2 turns. It wipes all non-land permanents and even punishes ramp decks hy nuking their extra lands. Happy to share my list if helpful.
Yeah, you are completely correct, I meant Karn's Sylex in the last time we talked about it (remember your comment :D). Urza's Sylex might be tech choice vs artifact decks, but to be honest, I still find 7 mana too slow - generally sweepers are vs aggro, and difference between 3-5 mana and 7, is huge, and too much in many quick matches where even 3-5 mana is too slow. I think it can be great tech choice against decks that abuse lack of farewell - and for this role I think it might have some spots in standard, depending on how meta ends. But to be honest, since rotation I've never seen single player use this card - so I think it's probably too slow :) Cool idea though, definitely a card that is worth to be kept on radar, if artifacts get too confident :) And you can always share the list, but to be honest I probably won't showcase it, I have very strict conditions for decks in daily videos :) Thanks for comment man, and impressive results btw!🔥🔥❤🦥

i find malicious eclipse too slow in this meta, especially on the draw, even when you go first sometimes it just doesnt do the job, low mana cost creatures are scaling too quick nowadays, i had to cut it. BTW this is a very cool deck, quite toxic heh heh

So far I’ve consistently lost on turn 2 to mono red. Like I was playing white and had only 1 land. Smh
