Rob, watch the official video clip for this song it is pretty well illustrated how the story ends. So if I can spoil it for you, the girl basically runs off with her young love guy literally just before the arranged wedding 😊 or at least that's what the video implies the old guy being anger at the end waiting with the wedding guest, and the video shows a clip of them running together as a children, so there's a bit of mystery whether it actually happened or they just what'd that to happen now as an adults.
