Newly renovated 130 year old Non-Veg Restaurant | Bagdadi Restaurant Colaba | Inexpensive great food

Believed to be a competitor to bademiyan, this crowd puller is good to go when one is low on budget and in a mood of good mughlai food in a place like SOBO. The ambience is very ordinary but the food is surprisingly extraordinary.
Try visiting this place before 8 p.m. as some dishes won't be available later (especially mutton dishes) though it's known for late night binging.
For all food lovers (ready to ignore the ambience of a place) a good experience to binge on at month end, total value for money, amazing taste and would hopefully visit again 👍🏻✨
Chicken Fry is the ultimate appetizer to have here. It is crisp and the taste is one of the best with the masala sprinkled over it. This is a must have dish to start your meal here. Each appetizer also comes with one potato sprinkled with the same masala. For mains, the most delicious gravy based dish is their Chicken Masala to be consumed with their giant sized Tandoori Roti. The gravy is delicious, oily and absolute perfect blend of masalas. The Tandoori roti can be shared by two light eaters or can be consumed by 1 heavy eater.

I cannot vouch for the taste of the food, but it is evident that the owner and the staff of the restaurant exhibit a rather haughty demeanor. Our visit to the establishment, based on a recommendation, proved to be quite repugnant due to the staff's uncouth behavior. It is worth noting that similar cuisine is available throughout Mumbai, yet it is served with a cheerful countenance and commendable hospitality.
