“Imma throw it back” is crazy asl ☠️
if you’re 11 i guess
That’s actually a completely normal phrase if you’re not a brain rotted 8 year old, bud
What does that got to do with American Sign Language
It’s a normal sentence. What a complete brain rot response, go outside little buddy.
@@SauliBo1 🤓🤓🤓
To give Kenny his flowers, he was high on Sengun
Everyone was tho
@@WhereIsYourIDcap
We aint forget bout malachi flynn P 😂
@@cbt3948 Thats not cap lol the consensus was he was good and shoulda went higher
@@cbt3948most people at the time were saying what a steal it was
Watching yall stream the draft on ESPN for 60k live viewers was craaaazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wanting OKC to take Franz Wagner instead of Josh Giddey will probably always be my biggest NBA hit.
Giddey good tho he’s a playmaker okc got him as SG
@@TannerGoated he’s ass
i highkey thought ben mclemore would turn into what malik monk is now LMAOO
Haha I remember when analysts were saying that his jumper was like Ray Allen’s
Too bad it didn’t come together
I was so so high on James Wiseman, especially before college but even after that whole Memphis fiasco, and thought hed fr carry the torch into a new era of Warriors basketball soon.
That's my biggest miss for sure
couldnt relate more
He was the #1 pick so even if nobody admits it now almost everyone was high on wiseman
@@Est-dh2go * #2 pick
@@romeo0524 fair
Highschool tapes had me thinking people Iike Romeo Langford and Trevon Duval were gonna be elite
I was so convinced Jahlil Okafor was gonna be a demon 😂 same with Emmanuel Mudiay. 15 draft was the first class I really followed and fell in love with as a 7th grader going into 8th grade year. D lo and KP still 2 of my favorites cause of it. I also thought Winslow and Stanley were gonna be niceeee especially point Winslow
Mudiay and Stanley Johnson are good ones. Also made me think of Harry Giles
Facts i was into that draft because of 2k. Thought everyone you named was nice af
Perry Jones III wow forgot about that
Those guys all had potential. I was in grade 11 and I had Jahlil as roty before he got injured. He would’ve finished second or third I think. He probably would’ve picked up a 3 pointer given a chance. He was just a victim of the process and no longer being needed after Embiid finally suited up. Same with Nerlens, somebody had to score on that team, but if Embiid stays out another year, Okafor might have been given time to develop and recover from his injury
Yea, that was a weird one. Even the predictions for KAT at the time were that he would be a defensive Al Horford type with some shooting potential.
I was high on KJ McDaniels from the 2014/2015 76ers. Dude was crazy athletic, finished lobs and got awesome chasedown blocks. Never thought he'd be an all star but a lesser Jeff Green type player.
He's most known for getting 6 fouls in less than three minutes. Think it was Drummond? And he was made to get those fouls ON PURPOSE.
Has since been out of the league for years.
"Ima throw it back" alr bro
I was high on James Wiseman, Thomas Robinson, Andre Drummond, Bruno Caboclo, SEKOUUUU, Poku, Thon Maker. I seem to have a history with centers and long tall foreign players.
I was low on Kawhi, i remember him getting so much hype after his first year or two and i just didnt see it (i was like 12), and I was low on Jayson Tatum.
Dawg Bruno I thought he so young he'll always have a chance to figure it out especially in Toronto
Thon maker got me good 🤣 Shoutout to all these players for getting to the highest level in their respective sports though!
Watched your guys vids at work for like 3-4 hours got me through a rough shift preciate you guys 🔥
Markelle at UW was so cold. I really don’t know what happened when he got to Philly. He was a completely different player. If Philly had early on Ben, UW Markelle, and now JoJo, they might have a ring or a least an ECF appearance
Yes markelle was one of my favorite prospects ever
@@ItAintNathanI thought he was going to take over the league. 3 level scorer that was strong for his position. Wished we could’ve seen that full potential in the league
Same for me I thought he was next harden when I watched him 😂
he had some condition, might've been an injury to some nerves in his hands
and he never recovered from a dip in confidence, just slumped and crashed mentally
And each time, the celtics picked the better player not soon after.
OJ Mayo, Tyreke Evans, Tony Wroten, Perry Jones, among others
i had James Young coming out of Kentucky being the new Harden
Nice to see I wasn’t the only one that expected Denzel Valentine to be a 16/8/8 kind of guy
for some reason i was really high on brunson in that 18-20 era so when he turned into what he turned into i felt amazing
mickey mitchell mixtape was tuff too & ridge shipley
Bro i was CONVINCED that Buddy Hield had superstar upside
I thought Jabari Parker was going to be one of the best players in basketball by now. Glad he doing his thing
One player for me I was convinced was gonna be good was Tyrese Halliburton, I’m a big Michigan fan and we played Iowa State in the Bahamas, and Hali was going crazy, still beat them but he was crazy.
Misses for me: Frank Ntilikina, Justin Jackson, Jevon Carter (thought he'd be Marcus Smart level)
Hits for me (basically players i've watched since high school and always had faith in their careers): MPJ and Tyler Herro
Okay mike got a decent lil fit in this video 🔥 I see you my boy 🙌🏾
I was bought in on Jahlil Okafor, Emmanuel Mudiay, Shabazz Muhammad.
My big miss in the draft was James Young, I thought he was gonna take off I was like damn Celtics got their franchise guy.
“Mike what you give him”😂😂
That Valentine 3 tho 😂
As a suns fan it pains to admit how high on Marquese Chriss I was. I thought he was going to be Stoudemire 2.0
Dwayne Bacon I was so high on
I thought he could at least be Andre Iguodala
My two draft success stories are Desmond bane and Jalen Brunson.
I always try to pick someone I think will go second or late first round and predict they will do well.
Desmond purely just off shooting and hustle and I was dead certain Brunson could run a winning offense
Brandon Rush, Wesley Johnson, Shannon Brown... my list of misses is pretty bad 😅
The dude who was drafted by the bulls that went to Boise State #25 I thought dude was going to be the next version of the 3&D player model
Okafor, Mudiay, Kris Dunn,
Dillon brooks, Kelton Johnson, De’Anthony melton
Thought Dennis smith was gonna be the next drose
1:34 BRUH WHHHAATTTTTT!!!
How many kisses on his feet you think the others give Kenny when the cameras turn off. he really made three careers
Honestly thought Markelle Fultz was gonna be a hybrid John Wall, Gary Payton
My worst draft miss was Frank Kaminsky. I was convinced he would be way better than okafor. I just didn’t know both would be trash
imma say justice winslow and sam dekker 😂😂
Mistakes: Willie Caulie Stein, Deni Advija(best player in his class), Emoni Bates
Hits: Porzingis, Tyus Jones.
Denzel valentine is mine as well
before the 2018 draft I didn't want Mo to go to the magic and then he got drafted there and hated it but I also thought Denzel would be nice from summer league
I thought Thon Maker is gonna be that dude 😅
that 23 year old had the craziest high school mixtape of all time
I also thought Mo Bamba was gonna be a monster, and I thought Trae Young was gonna be CHEEKS 😂
I was high on austin rivers, micheal kidd-gilchrist, archie goodwin and keegan murray
Went and watched that dmills highlight tape again.
Justice Winslow Man 😔
Jonathan Isaac is still the most effective defender per minute in the league he just cant stay healthy. he played 65 games total this season tho so all defensive team incoming next year hopefully
I thought Ben McLemore and Dante Exum was gon be that 😭
I thought Mike Beasley was gonna be a tougher kd
Mikes outfit IS CRAZZZZYYYYYYY
Looking like a 45 year old dad that would take his sons team to Pizza Hut after winning the little league chip
@@bbcpfghs nah that’s hilarious 😂
I was so high on Jahlil Okafor. That 1 hurts. Still my guy though.
I made a bet with a friend during that draft that Obi Toppin will have a better career than Lamelo Ball; I'm probably not winning it all time but low key kinda close rn.
NUMBERS ON THE BOOOARD
As a biased Chicagoan I thought Jabari Parker was going to kill in the NBA because he was the best HS player I ever saw. He was also insane for his 1yr at Duke. I used to argue he was the clear best prospect over maple Jordan. Especially after he killed Kansas/Wiggins when he was at Duke and they played at the United Center. To his credit Jabari did solid and was getting better every year. He started averaging 20 in his 2nd or 3rd year and was looking like the clear best player out of his draft. Then the injuries kept piling on and they killed his NBA career.
I was on high on Ja Morant, early in his college career, but I was not high on Zion. I didn't think he'll be that good in the NBA, because to me, he was all athleticism who wasn't a good defender. But he's a pretty good NBA player(the few games he does play lol)
Why does Kenny laugh like Dracula from sesame street sometimes
I was convinced Romeo Langford was the Celtics missing piece
Someone told me that jimmer range was jimmer freddets yt channel but idk if that's true
love your videos and I was wondering how you edit and use nba content in your videos. The name is Zion, I’m a young content creator that needs some advice
I was right on Miles Turner. Wrong on Doug McDermott i thought he could Gordan Hayward. Also Derrick Williams
Nah I fell for the Bamba hype too. He was legit one of my favorite prospects ever. I thought he was going to be Rudy Golbert with a 3 ball.
Still perplexed how he’s not an amazing center while being a floor spacing 7 footer with a 7’10 inch wingspan 😭🤦♂️
Man made me say pause out loud while listening to this with headphones on working.
biggest draft mistake last 10 years is the dubs taking Wiseman over lamelo ball.
i thought Rubio was gonna be Phoenix Nash 2.0😂😂
I was drinking the Kwame Brown kool aid.
I thought Dennis Smith Jr was gonna be the next Westbrook.
Nah I thought Perry Jones was gonna go crazy
Until the UK game. He went out soft.
i’m literally a videographer that’s my business, i record youth basketball & man it’s mad money out here lol
I think for me it would have to be Drummond thought he was the next Dwight
For me it’s definitely Mo Bamba (still expecting him to prove us all wrong and win a MIP but I’m being delusional)
Also Marvin Bagley III to me seemed like a sure thing due to being so athletic at 6’10
Zaire Smith just did nothing in the league 😭
Scoot has been proving me wrong so far but I do believe next season he will live up to expectations averaging something like 18 points with 8 assists per game
Players I always believed in going higher were Kuminga, both cam whitemore and Thomas, Haliburton, Clax and MPJ.
Kevin Knox was mine lmao…I thought he was going to be a slightly worse Paul George 😭
To be fair, he is definitely worse than Paul George
Josh Selby my pick
i thougth carson edwards was going to be nice for the celtics and i was high on dzanan musa
Anytony Randolph
P's big miss was Joshua Primo I was invested in him too after his praises but yeesh 😬😬
Got nothing to do with his game. He’s a lunatic
balled out in a different way unfortunately
3:19 Can we get a link to that DMills mixtape?
I thought Perry Jones III was gonna be special in the NBA too ngl
I was convinced Stanley Johnson was going to be next. Could not convince me otherwise. Sure was wrong about that one.
I thought Ben Mclemore was gonna be him.
For me its Thon Maker.
Patrick Williams
Trey Burke!!
I thought Josh Jackson was nice. He was my favourite player in that class
As a Lakers Fan mine was Jarrett Culver💀 I thought bro was about to be HIM 😂
I thought Immanuel mudiay was going to be one of the best guards in the league
Cam Reddish i was high on
My biggest miss was Jabari Parker. My biggest hit was giannis, I used to start him over at over Larry sanders in 2k13 to run point center 😂
*2k14 since he was drafted in 2013
Pierre picks don't count. He says like 25 players from trash college games will be good every draft 😂
Lmao true that Mf think everyone gonna be good cause he saw them in college
And he won’t give up on them til they out of the league
I thought Carsen Edwards was gonna be an average starting PG or even a decent role player-wrong
I thought Grant Williams would be a decent role player/starter-right
I thought Ja Morant was gonna be a star-right(idk if that is a hot take though at the time)
I thought Matisse Thybulle was gonna be a good role player-right
I thought Pritchard was gonna be a good roleplayer-right
I thought Tre Mann was gonna be a decent role player-right
I was high on every Baylor player from that 1 year they won a chip.
U want me to tell you who are the good role players r in the draft, I shoot pretty decent.
Bro P, I felt the same damn way about Austin Rivers lmao. All my buddies were telling me I’m bugging for saying Beal was overrated and that NOH got a steal to pair Rivers and AD together
I thought Kyle Anderson and Lavine was gone be best guards in the league out of ucla Kyle big guard that move at his own pace and lavine was gone be a bucket I was half right 😂😂
I wanted Scottie Barnes over Jalen Suggs let’s see how their careers play out
Jimmer was that guy tho
Eddie Griffin
Why Mike dressed like a crip
Bro I wanted Jarrett Culver over Darius Garland 🤦🏾♂️
Is he still in the league?
@@coryaddison He’s in the G league
Johnny Davis 🙂↕️
I think I was right for being high on Wembenyama.. nobody thought he would make it to the NBA and when he did., nobody thought he would actually be good. I felt like the only one who believed in him
