I love Myles but he was wrong on that part. Jericho was rebuilt. Joshua cursed whoever would rebuild Jericho and someone did actually rebuild Jericho. Because of the curse all his children died by the time Jericho was rebuilt. In the new testament, we hear of the city of Jericho as if it's still active.
I certainly appreciate your comment. I did some checking. It seems that other nearby sites were used to rebuild the city Jericho. The actual site with the ruins of the city destroyed by Israel is not rebuilt however. Thanks for provoking research.
