This hits particularly hard for me, having grown up in Washington State, only to be forced to move to Tulsa summer of 2020 because rent was somehow still climbing and we couldn't afford to live there anymore. Because of when we moved, lockdown prevented me from getting to say a proper goodbye to any of the people I grew up with. We just packed up the pod and left. It fucking sucked... Though I was born in Tulsa, my childhood lives in Kent, Washington. I'm far from home. Thank you, Jesse.

I agree, I think it's because there is no artifice with Jesse, he is speaking directly from his heart and soul, and he's not pulling any punches.
