Ralph Keith Nice! Also just don’t want you or anyone to get hurt while riding these
READ: if you experience pushback (it’s when the nose of the board lifts up a little) SLOW DOWN, it’s telling you your reaching its top speed or somethings wrong. Once you reach top speed, there is no balancing to prevent you front falling forward since it can’t speed up to prevent that since it’s at its max speed so your board will dip forward and send you flying of the thing.
It balances you by moving in the direction your leaning and that’s also how you ride and if your at max speed it can’t speed in that direction more anymore

What other accessories have you added or was this just a product review trial ride? What about switching the tire for a threaded tire over the slick one that comes with it!?! Is that something a newbie ought to consider for added traction while learning or is the slick version doable? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Stay safe!!!

@matti : The design reason for the handle in the middle and not the side is cause the weight distribution is more centered. if you'd carry the front i'm pretty sure you'd feel a lot more strain in the arms as opposed to carrying it along the middle :) taking an educated swing in the dark :P Hope i'm right :)

So you said that the Xr is def better off-roading, but you think it would be safe to dabble on packed gravel or dirt paths on the pint? I also know that the Xr can do sand, or at least packed and wet sand, do you think a pint could handle it? Obviously it wouldn’t be as well. Thanks for the advice!

All of the battery-operated scooters, wheels, boards are game-changers if you live in a major metropolitan area. It may take a while to become completely comfortable with them, but once you do, you will find yourself enjoying your commute. One advantage the one wheel has over other transports is that I have seen them consistently drop over curbs and other rough surfaces - which is important much of the time.

Never ridden a skateboard, but genuinely considering getting one of these soon as a means of short transport to work (close by in city). Would you recommend this for new "skaters" ? and as a means of transport more than for fun?

I love my pint and xr. I truly understand float life and being stroked. Having said that that, I also own a msx and an msx pro. One wheel stoke level and fun, it get an 11 out of ten. But my euc's beats uber and absolutely no range anxiety. Float in my shoes, back to the future? These things are incredible and I am happy most people r afraid of these things BC it would ruin the freedom. I live in NY city and surfing through traffic isn't the best thing but its awesome. C ya.

Great review, I preordered a pint and ended up canceling the order after all the delays, I really wanted to enjoy it all summer and wasn't sure I was going to be happy with the range of it and wanted an XR but couldn't justify the extra cost. Maybe in the future Ill pull the trigger on an XR

Do it!! I used PayPal credit to get mine (you get 6 months to pay it off without any interest) Or you can use Klarna (OneWheels credit option) and you get 18 months to pay it off with little interest.

I have both the XR and the Pint. Overall both are worth the price tag but you get what you pay for. In my mind XR is way more enjoyable than the Pint. One thing left out in this vid is how the pushback seems to kick in way sooner (at a lower MPH) and is much more noticeable than the XR. So that is annoying and also I don't feel nearly as confident or as in control as compared to being on my XR. Overall the Pint just seems more suitable for a younger / smaller person and/ or for someone who can't quite afford the XR.

is the wheel arch guard on the bigger XR an addition? or is that a premium feature? as this was not mentioned, can imagine riding through a puddle, water will flip up everywhere without a guard

For those who are confused about purchasing which one to get. If you enjoy carving, its nimble and zippy, Go for the PINT. But if you are a speed demon and will go off roading then go for the XR.

I really want to buy the pint, but what scares me is the battery, I've seen lots of people saying that their battery stopped working well after a year, but idk how it is replaced. Might not buy it due to that...

I am saving up for the XR. Unfortunately I read that they are not legal to be driven on public roads or on the sidewalk in the Netherlands, where I recently moved to. Does anyone have some locations where I would be able to drive this in the Netherlands without fearing going against the law?

Dont u think they should put 2 small wheels in the front, not touching whie riding. But just in case u lean to much forward. That would be a cool safety accessory. Like small ass wheels by right where the nose would touch anyways

Check the app and the ride settings. I think this is configurable; there's options to have the OW go both ways or have it "break" when you counter-balance.... but I don't have a OW, so it's something I read. ;-)
