    I had my first lucid dream today!! I woke up in a room that obviously wasn’t mine, and something just clicked. I knew I was dreaming! It was as vivid as being awake. I thought, “this is cool and all, but I have a lot of psychology work to get done.” Then I spoke out loud saying, “I need to wake up.” Nothing happened... so then I said “I have a lot of work to get done.” And then I could feel my limbs back in my bed again. The transition from dreaming to being awake was so smooth!! In all it was about 30 seconds long. Still cool though!

      so basically u have to experience sleep paralysis everytime before u wake up?

    • @adamantsteel634
      @adamantsteel634 4 года назад +4

      @@UnRec0gnizabl3 sleep paralysis is something everyone goes through every time they fall asleep so that when they're dreaming they dont actually move their bodies around irl. When you wake up in the morning, your just leaving sleep paralysis, but your not conscious during the transition from paralyzed to mobility. It's right after that you are. Some people wake up during that transition though, and experience it while conscious. It can be pretty rare for that to happen though

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  4 года назад +1

      Personally FILD was never one of my favourite techniques because I often experienced a similar issue. It might be that like me you do better off with other techniques.
      If you're just starting out I'd suggest WBTB or MILD. If you've already succeeded with one of those, then I suggest learning WILD or DEILD.
      If you'd like to persist with FILD, something that can help if you're falling asleep too quickly is just to sit up for a minute or two then lay back down, relax, and then perform it as normal.

    Hey tipharot, I have a question. Is there anyway to go directly to the void right as you fall asleep so you don’t have to use an alarm? I’m thinking of going to the void right away and waiting for each dream to come. I want to see how many dreams I can go to through the void before waking up

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  4 года назад +1

      Getting lucid in the void is a LOT harder than getting lucid inside a dream in my experience, and your best bet if that's something you'd like to achieve is to meditate consistently every night for long periods. I had the most success with getting there consistently when I was meditating every single night for 30-40+ minutes 1-2 hours before bed.
      Now that I mostly do my meditation in the mornings I tend to only find myself becoming lucid in the void on occasions, and without the same consistency. So it seems the long evening meditation was really key.

      I can't really tell you. Everyone is different. You might get lucid again the next night, or you might not. Even if you use several techniques and do everything 100% correctly, you're not likely to be getting lucid every single night all of the time - there will be nights when you do everything right but don't get lucid.
      However, by ensuring you're staying focused, now that you've had your first lucid dream, you can start getting lucid quite regularly, with a little persistence :)

So when I do WBTB, should I meditate before going back to bed using the same method I use during the day? Which is the most effective way to do WBTB?? I have been trying to get lucid for a while now but when my alarm goes off after 6 hours of sleep im just sitting in my bed thinking of lucid dreaming and what i want to do while in a dream. Unfortunetly im not able to get lucid so can someone give me advice how to do it perfectly.

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  4 года назад

      See my WBTB video if you haven't already: ruclips.net/video/LuYdbntNWzk/видео.html
      I'd then stick with the same routine for at least 2 weeks. If you've still had no success after 2 weeks, the next thing to experiment with is different alarm times - since some people will need to set the alarm slightly longer or shorter than 6 hours to ensure they end up hitting an REM period.

    I have a question. I set my alarm for 3 hours, i wake up at 4 am but im not sure that i am in rem. How do i know that i am in rem?

    • @nickrye1957
      @nickrye1957 4 года назад

      Get sleep tracking apps to find your rem cycles and then after a few nights of collecting data find the average of the last rem cycle based on length of time from when you went to bed, keeping a consistent bedtime helps
      The average time for this last rem cycle rangers from around 4 to 6 hours, i personally have my alarm go off 5hrs 30mins after i go to bed

    Hey tipharot i don't understand the intention technique can you please explain to me how do you put intention to lucid dreaming please i need help

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  4 года назад +1

      If you mean the first part/simplest part of the technique, then I really just mean to *decide* to get lucid. I sometimes like to state it to myself in my head "I'm going to have a lucid dream tonight", and then follow on with the rest of the technique as outlined in the original video (ruclips.net/video/Aql3gQ9Yi5g/видео.html)

      Tipharot so a man has been haunted by demons for a while but then he is like nope and leaves his house but then realizes that the demonic spirits are still there causing him to realize that they are part of him so he uses some technique to go deep into his mind but considering that the spirits are part of him they use all of his darkest nightmares to keep him from getting rid of them. What do you think? Is it original?

    Do i need to sleep straight facing upward to get lucid or do astral projection?

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  4 года назад +1

      Nope. Sleep in whatever position you like. Sleeping on your back does increase the likelihood of entering sleep paralysis, which may be useful for certain techniques, but it's not required even for those - and for everything else it makes no difference.
      You can experiment though. Sometimes different sleeping positions offer different advantages. For example, if you normally sleep on your side, but you find yourself falling back to sleep too quickly while performing techniques like WILD, then you can try laying on your back instead. That different position will usually make it a bit harder to fall back asleep, so in that situation it can be helpful.
