Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic....
Frogs have green skin, leprechauns wear green, therefore frogs guard gold deposits.
I cannot fault this logic. This is going in the book!
I like that logic!
Bloody oath I’ve never though of it like that but I like your idea
That specimen is gorgeous! Well done
Great video Chris. Nice to see you included some backfilling to show what has to be done. Beautiful little specimen and Lovely looking Gold.
I really should show more of it.
I see that happy dog and still get the feels chris
it's about 1:15am central here in the states, about to go to bed.. hit the home button on the youtubes.. and bam!! A video that cant wait until morning! ! !
Man the shine on that specimen is unreal. Nice find!
Love your smile when you are excited and happy. Great Day Chris.
Absolutely brilliant stuff! And just to let you know, I’m doing a tablespoon a day with your paydirt (just to multiply the fun) and I’m getting crazy gold in every pan! 10/10 will be buying more in the future!
Onya Vo-Gus your a ledgend.👊
Nice job, love your vidioes from Washington state.
Glad you like them!
Long time lurker, first time caller! Love your channel!
Beautiful speci there! All the more special for the spot! Congrats!
I did miss the cleanup gold paintbrush that I’ve seen pop up on another channel with a nod your way! 🙃
Peace!
Nice chunky bits + that speci! Awesome
Seeing that specimen with slight rounded edges means it didn't move far!! Keep going in the same direction as the flow and when you pan out of rough gold back up because the source is close!!! Much love from southern oregon and a fellow miner!👍
That speci is choice. Nice find!
Awesome find! Looks like an excellent location and a great day all-round!
Nice work mate, That speci is beautiful.🍻👍🍀⛏
I had to fast forward the first 20 seconds to avoid the chance of a spoiler, but I always watch to the end for the chance of a Grizzly clip. Love ya work mate

My hat is getting super mouldy!

You're so lucky living right near paydirt. I'd be out there all day.
We are very lucky
That specimen is really pretty well done 😉
Got to love the little froggy. Nice vid dude. Fun watching you gaming too. Long may you continue. 👍
There's much swearing
Yeah there's lots of swearing when I play battlefield, think its part of the game. Lol
Great job Chris, if I go out prospecting I always have my yabby pump. I don’t go without it.
Once again, fantastic video and footage! Nice seeing you on Shane's live show last night/ this morning/ yesterday/ when ever it was for you lol
Hahaha, we live in the future so it was morning
Hey Chris, you need my desert wash plant out there. That ground is perfect ! Imagine how much gold you'll recover running a yard per hour ? Thanks for sharing. Cheers mate !!
Very nice. My friend 👍💪.
Very nice specimen Chris. I bet Zoe will reckon that if you surround it with some parti- sapphires & nice garnet "wafers" in a necklace it would look even better. And believe me there still may well be some golf ball or even bigger specimens in that area as there were back in the seventies. ⛏️.
Great video as always, I really enjoyed watching you freaking out because of that lovely specemen, a big hallo from Italy my friend, can't wait to see your next video :)
WOW! Nice bit m8, thanks to the frog I think. Love how the next pan you did looked to have twice the dirt lol. May just be as you editted it, but I get a good pan and my next is a monster too
Very nice little chunks Chris yumo
That little specimen was a ripper for sure
Nice visit to your creek thanks mate
CrouchOz
You know first hand how big this is for my area. Practically hands of faith lol
@@VoGusProspecting yes I do mate

Similar to my river in the mountains
Check my last vid on my channel called
Take me to the river
See what we get same mate
Cheers keep up the AWSOME work love it all

You know the old saying, If you found a pot of gold there would be a tax collector sitting on the lid.🐎
nice specimen you found also great to see our boxer dog friend grizzley :)
Awesome video Chris nice gold 👌👍
Lots of work and good gold and keep on digging 👍.
I panned a gold nugget out of my backyard while digging a trench for shed power.....another highlight was a 3 gram sunbaker while detecting near Kookynie....still plenty of good gold out here.
You sir are bloody lucky!
That's an awesome outcome for a old riverbed .... lol rock on for adding the back filling too lol for those nonbelievers of honesty and the rest of it lol I could go on with that well done chris n vo-gus Prospecting much love n stay golden
Awesome day Mate. Gold snatchin sweet spot
Working nights on the east coast of the United states is Vogus prospecting uploading time.
That's a nice bit of gold from just one hole. Hope you can highbank that spot sometime.
It’s 3 degrees outside. Only prospecting I’m doing is through you! 👋🏻😎 Sweet specimen
Sounds frosty! I'll try to help you out!
That laugh sounded like the cat that swallowed the canary.🐎
i realy love ur films so much! thx so much
Great find
Cheers mate
Awesome!
Thanks!
This area looks excellent, seems so untouched especially when you needed to grab your pick to get into it. You must know that ground better than anybody which is absolutely paying off. That lil spessy is fantastic 😊⛏
This is one of those spits I was telling you about. 2-4 foot of overburden then a mad pay layer.
@@VoGusProspecting well worth hunkering in for a bit hey, sure is interesting to me the terrain.
Fabulous specimen and a great entertaining video , can’t wait to see more , loved it 👍😎🌴
Glad you enjoyed it, was a bloody hot day out!
Beautiful!!
Good gold, happy panning!
Thanks 👍
Hey Chris maybe try putting vicks vaporub behind your ears to keep flies and mostestoes away !
That may work a treat
beautiful specimen
a hot / pesty ( is that a word) day on the gold is better than sitting at home
Nearly right pesky
pesky pests
Great video and some very nice gold. Thanks for sharing.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Thats the tiniest frog I have ever seen.
I love your content bro, much love ❤️
Hi Vo-Gus Prospecting, I am entertained by watching your videos and I have learned a lot about mining, soon I will be mounting one on my channel, where I process a few kilos of material that I found in the mountains. Greetings from Caracas Venezuela.

I have been watching your videos for a bit now and I have to say that with my PTSD complicated even more by having crohns disease....you have giving me another coping skill to deal with my bad days.
When I'm sick do to my crohns, I watch your videos to make me feel better.
When my PTSD starts getting to me, I watch your videos and dream of being out doing what you are doing. Which in turn takes my mind off the war inside myself.
Plus with all the political crap going on in the US, your positive non-political videos help me see the better side of life.
Thank you for keeping me and I am sure many others sane....
I'm glad to hear the videos help. There's still a lot of positive stuff in the world, you just have to seek it out.
AWESOME LITTLE Specimen you got there Chris and looks like that frog brought you good luck again lol. CHRIS THAT IS THE SMALLEST FROG I HAVE EVER SEEN, and it has to be the smallest frog in the world lol👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦
Nice job!
Nice boogie when I seen ur speci
Cool Score
Nice specimen
I'll trade areas with ya in a second. Oregon is COLD.
Mate have you ever checked the values in the high banks of the creek ?
Oh my yes!
excellent video, Chris. thank you.......huck
Mlf's are my lucky charm
Here it is some time after 1am and I see you just posted a video. Sleep is going to have to wait.
Edit: dang, there are others that have to watch before bed. Its addicting to watch you dig gold
The Egyptian Fertility Goddess Heqet is represented by Frogs, and she herself originally represented the later stages of the flooding of the River Nile that brought and deposited all the silt to the region. Considering most of your gold tends to be flood gold maybe you should thank her. 😁
Mother Earth piggy bank old river banks waiting for your withdrawls. Sure was fun being there with you too bad we could'nt crawl out of this screen to be with you LOL.Thanks Chris showing us all this video David out
Good job mate. Since you found gold in rocks in previous videos surprised you don't pass your stratified rocks over the detector before pitching them?
31👍's up thanks again for taking us all along with you
Thanks for coming
Chis, it seams your are washing on top of the goldbaring quarz.
nice specimen
Very nice
Metal detecting that old river
I made a film on this not too long ago.
Is that just a standard pick/mattock? ive seen a few that look more "miningy" than the standard garden ones.
What a little beauty of a specimen. I like them even more than just pure gold. Lucky you! And frogs don´t lie ;)
You say its hard to read this old river because lack of water. But you find coarse pieces of gold which indicates that they could not have traveled a long way throug water flows I guess.
So would you consider detectoring the area to find the hotter spots or even quartz veins where the specimen broke off - or would it just not worth the effort?
We have spent some time detecting this spot for this reason. However there is too much overburden.
@@VoGusProspecting your´re the pro, bro ;)
Well I'll be damned! Looks like the speci's are a flowing this year! Great video chris 🤠👍🏼
I know right. Almost every session I'm getting them!
@@VoGusProspecting congrats man I hope you find the reef they are breaking off of. That one I just got was in a very similar topo and geo area that you mine around the veins are there and most likely lots of small fissures close to the surface still. Those tiny ones branching off the small ones that come off the main origin are usually the most productive and they are the ones that get most passed over. With time and erosion on your side some could have been exposed that weren't 150 years ago. Best of luck Doobie'
Grisly
Hello V.G., Hey they should call ya "The Down Under Rockie" (D.U.R., da!)!!!🤣 Good finds for sure...👍 Good luck for next time!🙏🏻🤞 Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 👍👍🙏🏻😇👊
P.S.: Whatcha do w/your face net, betcha wish ya had it to thwart off those "invaders", huh? Can't weigh that much, would make sure it would be a permanent part of the out back "Outback kit"!🤣 L8TR!!!
I call him the human metal detector he always finds the good gold
Hi , Chris i really enjoy your channel learned a great deal from you , where can i get a gabby pump , im in the U.S.
did u do some workout for ur bizeps? looks great
Digging holes.
Nice gold! Too bad the magic frog didn't eat all the bugs.
Could you pump the WATER OUT of that hole so you could see the bottom better - the better to clean it out? instead of Yabby pumping?
Aye You ! I think you Boy's might be on to some real good!!?? AU!
A good day in the field eh?
Love you bro
I do miss your dog in the videos...feel for ya.
Where can I get that gold then I love the blue and the dragon skin
It's by XP metal detecting
Grizzly s cute
Beautiful gold. When I get my taxes back. Want to order me one of those yabby pumps like yours with the handle and metal I've got a cheap plastic one right now. It works but it's only like a footlong so I'm constantly bending over it kills my back. Yeah I'm old ish.
This one is 750mm long, no bending, made by Willson Bait Pumps.
Nice yeah the one I'm looking at his arm I don't know. That's the first one that comes up when I when I say yabby pump. It looks like yours is probably not the same exact thing but.
view, like, comment... you know... like every your video or post...
Do you keep the coordinates of the places you find gold and the amount you found there?
Yep, my little gold book
Chris is there any possibility that you throw away specimens in the classifier?
Of course! That's why we bring metal detectors, at the end of the day we check the piles of rock.
Oh! thanks for the info...
If you have shotgun pellets, then the old riverbed cannot be older than a couple hundred years old.
Why do you have to back fill minute holes ?
Legally You must
@@VoGusProspecting wow, why must you back fill such small holes ? What's the reasoning behind it ?
