At first I had sympathy for you, but after hearing how you thought it would be funny to give these shoes that are in horrible condition and smelled like piss to homeless guy and laugh about it speaks volumes about your character.
Maybe I missed something here but the headline says you were scammed out of $600+ but in reality it was $200 which you were refunded by eBay. So while you were initially scammed, you were made whole by eBay for the $200. What have I missed? I am gratified that eBay stood by you in this instance. I used to sell on eBay but got really tired of people doing a return on a brand new item, which I sent, and receiving something completely different and usually worthless when returned. For me at least, I will never sell on the platform again.
I sold the shoes for $600+ and the seller scammed me. I ended up chasing down and getting all of them back. And one more thought, If the shoes you did get back are as bad as you say, please be considerate and DO NOT GIVE THEM TO A HOMELESS INDIVIDUAL. I am 73 years old and ben around the block a few times and feel you should be more considerate of another person feelings, even the homeless. AND you said, " you are a good person. " Prove it!

And again, I’ve dealt with and avoided scammers before. But no buyer expects a customer to say that their item was destroyed even when you know that you prepped the item perfectly beforehand. I see two things you could have done differently...first acknowledge you must accept back returns...secondly, when the customer complained...do not argue or debate...rather tel them to open a case and then i'll send you a shipper, ship them back and your money will be returned in full. I think the buyer decided to send you crap shoes cause you fought with him on condition and then later when you sent the return shipper you told him it better be the same shoes i sent you....which was a challenge to him to really hurt you more. Got to side with buyer immediately and treat them right...and help them on the return...else they will F.ck you!

I guess you might get away with that once, but what a shitty thing to do. Ebay instill the least amount of trust protection as a buyer and all the hoopla i would have to go through if something were to go wrong, this is why i avoid ebay. Buyers and sellers seem less trustworthy as well as the comp[any to me and my experiences. This is why even as a buyer purchase items and seldom if at all anymore my first choice. BTW, you are not a nice person as you claim. At first I had sympathy for you, but after hearing how you thought it would be funny to give these shoes that are in horrible condition and smelled like piss to homeless guy and laugh about it speaks volumes about your character.
Get over yourself. He was not serious.
It was distasteful, but that doesnt mean he deserved to get scammed.
I don't think I mentioned any $200 in the video and there wasn't any $200 kind of number appear in this whole mess.
Anyway, eBay supposed to resolve this problem the whole time but they ain't trying.
@@andyhan5705 so eBay hasn’t at this point reimbursed you for the money? Ugh. eBay has is such a toxic place these days.
@@andyhan5705 I think you need to listen / watch this video again to satisfy your own mind and The Train Doctor. You DID in FACT at 5:55 mention " a couple of hundred dollars. " Then again at 6:02 you mention, " rich or not, you care about a couple of hundred dollars." Soooooo, where is the total of $600.00 in your title? Very Confusing! BTW... I've been selling on eBay since 2003, so I kinda sense when something ain't kosher!
And one more thought, If the shoes you did get back are as bad as you say, please be considerate and DO NOT GIVE THEM TO A HOMELESS INDIVIDUAL. Have a little more respect, kindness and empathy for the homeless... They are human beings also and one day that homeless person could be you. I am 73 years old and ben around the block a few times and feel you should be more considerate of another person feelings, even the homeless. AND you said, " you are a good person. " Prove it!
This is what happens when you support companies who use child labor. Karma is great.
Who. Asked?
There's a lot of crooked people out there you should know better
Actually, the way the dude scammed him didn’t seem as obvious as other scams. I’ve dealt with scammers before, and seeing how this guy’s transaction with the scammer seemed perfect until the end, I’m not surprised that he fell for it. I would have too, honestly. And again, I’ve dealt with and avoided scammers before. But no buyer expects a customer to say that their item was destroyed even when you know that you prepped the item perfectly beforehand. In his situation, there wasn’t really much that he could do once he sent the item out, unfortunately
Please help me out and tell me what you did
Call eBay customer service asap and speak to a representative. Tell them what happened and they will help you investigate it. That's what I did and I eventually got my money back.
Title says you scammed for $600
Yes, $613 to be specific.
Why would I say you would give them nasty shoes to a homeless guy?? Bro u messed up your whole message..wow
Thanks, btw, did you read my description? Please go read it and feel free to confront me afterward.
sup
I see two things you could have done differently...first acknowledge you must accept back returns...secondly, when the customer complained...do not argue or debate...rather tel them to open a case and then i'll send you a shipper, ship them back and your money will be returned in full.
I think the buyer decided to send you crap shoes cause you fought with him on condition and then later when you sent the return shipper you told him it better be the same shoes i sent you....which was a challenge to him to really hurt you more. Got to side with buyer immediately and treat them right...and help them on the return...else they will F.ck you!
You are wrong.A scammer from the start isnt going to care if you treat them right or not.The seller has a happy ending since he got a refund most do not.
Damn that's crazy tho
