"I will give the shoes to a homeless guy and hope he don't get beat up" "l won't show you the shoes 👟 they are too disgusting"... referring to the shoes he will give to a homeless guy? 😶Nice guy... 🤔 Hmmm ya right. These are quotes l got from watching the video of this seller complaining!!!! He also complains about the ebay "seller fees..." which, come on now, we all know he (as a seller) simply passes on to the buyers. He doesn't accept returns 🙄... on "$600 shoes" he admits he bought at yard sale? Complains he had to return $200 buck by ebay which he eventually got back. Then he wants a like on the video? Look it's ebay buyers who assume all the risks and pay all the fees. I believe all ebay sellers should have to accept returns...l don't agree that buyer in this case tried to send seller the wrong used tennis shoes... And wouldn't work with seller and tried a switch with other used disgusting pair of shoes...Sounds like buyer regret - having purchased a pair of tennis shoes for $600...that's insane in the first place. End result the buyer had to pay the money and the shipping costs both ways, had a case opened against him and probably got kicked off the platform and his refund refused...you really think ebay got stuck paying... I don't think so. In the end the seller sold some sucker on ebay a $600 pair of used shoes.

I can't say that. I personally never have the same type of experience. My two-cent: chances are they won't - in a way that the seller has the freedom to sell whatever they want, as long as both sides obey the buying/selling rules. But it's just my guess though. In any case, I would just do enough due diligence on the shoe that I trying to get (i.e shoe packaging, labels, etc.) so that I won't get scammed by a fake pair.

to be honest, i wouldnt even care about the money at that point. now its all about the integrity of both the buyers and ebay (i had a buyer email me telling me i sent him a bent cpu chip, buyer sent me a photo and it was not what i sent the buyer, the numbers on the cpu chip did not match the cpu on the one that was sold. i told him to send it back to me for a refund...buyer responded with "my son threw it away"...what a POS buyer!!!)...and that sucks as a seller. ebay needs to start investigating all these buyers requesting a return/refund...suspend a buyer if that buyer is consistantly filing for a return/refund...amazon does it. especially if sellers arent allowed to leave negative feedback on a buyer. i would love to know who these buyers are who is consistantly doing this is so i can add them to my ignore/block list. this is the main thing i am hoping to se in the near future...so we can protect sellers the way we should be protected...the same way a community is protected by a registered paedephile in their community...LET US KNOW WHO THESE BUYERS ARE!!!

if you are rich a couple of hundred bucks doesn't matter, but what would matter more is the principle or their ego that being being ripped off or ripping someone off is wrong. I have heard of this on Amazon and actually I was doing a return once in Home Depot on Cae Cod, MA while visiting and the guy in front of me who looked a little rough around the edges was returning some hand power tool because when he got home and opened it was filled with rocks or something ridiculous like that. I guess you might get away with that once, but what a shitty thing to do. Ebay instill the least amount of trust protection as a buyer and all the hoopla i would have to go through if something were to go wrong, this is why i avoid ebay. Buyers and sellers seem less trustworthy as well as the comp[any to me and my experiences. This is why even as a buyer purchase items and seldom if at all anymore my first choice. BTW, you are not a nice person as you claim. At first I had sympathy for you, but after hearing how you thought it would be funny to give these shoes that are in horrible condition and smelled like piss to homeless guy and laugh about it speaks volumes about your character.

Maybe I missed something here but the headline says you were scammed out of $600+ but in reality it was $200 which you were refunded by eBay.
So while you were initially scammed, you were made whole by eBay for the $200. What have I missed?
I am gratified that eBay stood by you in this instance. I used to sell on eBay but got really tired of people doing a return on a brand new item, which I sent, and receiving something completely different and usually worthless when returned.
For me at least, I will never sell on the platform again.

I sold the shoes for $600+ and the seller scammed me. I ended up chasing down and getting all of them back. I don't think I mentioned any $200 in the video and there wasn't any $200 kind of number appear in this whole mess.
Anyway, eBay supposed to resolve this problem the whole time but they ain't trying.

@@andyhan5705 I think you need to listen / watch this video again to satisfy your own mind and The Train Doctor. You DID in FACT at 5:55 mention " a couple of hundred dollars. " Then again at 6:02 you mention, " rich or not, you care about a couple of hundred dollars." Soooooo, where is the total of $600.00 in your title? Very Confusing! BTW... I've been selling on eBay since 2003, so I kinda sense when something ain't kosher!

And one more thought, If the shoes you did get back are as bad as you say, please be considerate and DO NOT GIVE THEM TO A HOMELESS INDIVIDUAL. Have a little more respect, kindness and empathy for the homeless... They are human beings also and one day that homeless person could be you. I am 73 years old and ben around the block a few times and feel you should be more considerate of another person feelings, even the homeless. AND you said, " you are a good person. " Prove it!

Actually, the way the dude scammed him didn’t seem as obvious as other scams. I’ve dealt with scammers before, and seeing how this guy’s transaction with the scammer seemed perfect until the end, I’m not surprised that he fell for it. I would have too, honestly. And again, I’ve dealt with and avoided scammers before. But no buyer expects a customer to say that their item was destroyed even when you know that you prepped the item perfectly beforehand. In his situation, there wasn’t really much that he could do once he sent the item out, unfortunately

Call eBay customer service asap and speak to a representative. Tell them what happened and they will help you investigate it. That's what I did and I eventually got my money back.

I see two things you could have done differently...first acknowledge you must accept back returns...secondly, when the customer complained...do not argue or debate...rather tel them to open a case and then i'll send you a shipper, ship them back and your money will be returned in full.
I think the buyer decided to send you crap shoes cause you fought with him on condition and then later when you sent the return shipper you told him it better be the same shoes i sent you....which was a challenge to him to really hurt you more. Got to side with buyer immediately and treat them right...and help them on the return...else they will F.ck you!

You are wrong.A scammer from the start isnt going to care if you treat them right or not.The seller has a happy ending since he got a refund most do not.
