Thanks for sharing this. I don't have a table scrim to light, but I have found the ADJ Mega bars work really well for up lighting my stand scrims, and my youtube studio performance corner.

i use the chauvet 4 bar for my under table/facade lighting. it was one of the first lights i bought when i started getting serious about lighting a couple years ago. it's not really built for floor work, but i made it work with a pvc cradle for a long time. though last week i figured out some actual floor mounts for it with a 2" wide steel c-channel i got at home depot.

I've been using an adj jelly dome behind my facade, gives a cool effect and adds a bit of movement

How about the dotz pars with the lens off of it? Should be a lot wider with no hot spots. :) great videos Brian!

I'm using an ADJ blacklight bar and it really pops with the white scrims

I'm thinking of trying the LED light strips you can buy for cars. I was at Advance Auto yesterday for something else, and started playing with the LEDs. It really got me thinking. These LED strips could be a permanently mounted to your facade. They weigh next to nothing and many come with a remote and multiple colors. And the lights can DANCE! Has anyone tried and had any luck with this?

led strip lighting looks good as long as you go all the way around the inside of the facade

has anyone tried using a light diffuser like the ones used in fluorescent lighting? I'm thinking that it may help eliminate hot spots. Just place a small piece in front of the LED's. Last I looked they were about $8 for a 2 by 4 ft panel.
