Born and raised in Barbados and I'm obsessed with your videos lol beem binging like crazy. My hair is armpit length. Longest it's ever been. I'm learning to care for it from watching your videos ❤Thank youuuu. You are the best. My 1st trip to the States will be to Georgia ! Stay blessed 🙌🏾
Right!!! I’m also in Chicago and I haven’t had a trim all year. I’m gonna use deeper than hairs video to trim my own hair. Cause I need a good trim but the Egyptians are so scissor happy then whenever I go to a black stylist they wanna do blunt cuts at the bottom and not give a full trim throughout the hair.
Wow. What an amazing hair journey. You transformed her hair and gave her so much knowledge on the health of her hair. I absolutely loved both hairstyles. Definitely wish you were in H Town.
This page has helped my whole natural hair routine. You would be the ONLY person I would allow to use any heat tools in my hair! Lol So until I can get in that chair please keep us educated! ❤️
You are a wonderful hair stylist. I love how informative you are. It truly makes the client comfortable & puts them at ease. I wish you were based in Houston. Bravo, great work!
You did a wonderful job looking after her hair ❤ Can you please share how you do the finger coils? It is such a beautiful style. I would love to try and do it on myself 😊 x
1:30 I feel like when you are stuck with shoulder length hair, it means even more that you can't cut it off? Almost as if some people feel like their hair doesnt grow, so they think it'll take forever to get back to shoulder length. My mom (and tbh a big portion of my family) was the same way, with both her hair and mine when I was younger. my mom would rather get braids back to back instead of cutting her hair off after damage. I'm at the point where I think I want a big chop because I personally don't like dealing with excessive damage, but my mother would freak if I told her this now because she stopped me I went natural as an early teen reached the end of the video and her hair is growing out so well, im glad she has someone like you guiding her.
Very informative video. Did she ask you to keep the hair that you’re trimming off for her? I notice that you are placing it into a plastic bag. What did you notice with her hair that caused you to make the suggestion for her to wear more confined styles?
Yes. I'm her culture, they don't allow other people to handle their hair after it's been cut. They dispose off it themselves to prevent people from putting bad energy on them thru their hair. And she had slight breakage towards the ends but no splits. That reads as mechanical damage from detangling shrunken and hair that's not conformed being that i know every process that's been done to her hair. I would like to reduce the amount that needs to be cut even further if possible.

Amazing work bringing her hair back to life. I hope to see more success stories of people transitioning from relaxed to natural. 😀 And I hope this young lady can really learn to take care of and style her hair in a way that makes her feel more confident. 🫶🏿
