In 1977, I worked for a sand and gravel company that was contracted to clean out a late 1800's ditch that had filled with sand. We wre running the sand we excavated through a screening plant. Along with rocks of all sizes, old bottles would come down the overburden chute. In a week of work, I collected over a hundred bottles, from tiny medicine bottles up to large whisky bottles.Ny boss got pissed at me because I was so focused on saving those bottles before rocks coming out of the screening plant could break them.
More more more please make the videos longer I still love to watch you guys dig as I sit-in my old Barcalounger. This 56-year-old lady has bad knees so loves to feel like she’s down in the dirt digging with you all 💙 please keep them coming and I’ll keep watching Your friend from the Philly suburbs 👏
Hey Brandon just found your channel yesterday from your dad. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met. I can tell he raised you right. Been working with him since I was a teenager. Me and my wife watched a couple of your videos last night. I love the channel and content! Like and subscribed!
New to the channel but I vote a big yes to longer Vid’s!!! So much amazing info and finds!! I can’t wait to dive into all your vids and hope to see those Whiskey glasses you talk about making!!!! Beautiful…you guys take great care out there and carry calamine lotion for sure LOL!! That Poison Ivy is a B!!!!! 🥵😂🥰
The Veronica spring bottle came from Santa Barbara California which is where I was born. My family runs 5 generations deep here. My father and I used to dig the dump just behind their building in the creek years ago. The bottles come in many sizes but the one you found is the largest whole one I’ve ever found. The big ones were always broken. It’s almost impossible to dig here now because I get run off most dumps by angry land owners.
Bottle extraction is exciting and I can see how it could become quite the hobby/obsession. You found so many beautiful bottles, and they're in amazing shape!
Digging Up History - nice and rare old Bottles - well done all of You - we can't wait until the Follow Up ! More Rare Bottles will come to Light ?!?! We enjoyed the Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Don't stop !!!! Keep collectin' !!!! There's fishing - then there's catching ! There's bottle digging - then there's bottle collecting ! Might just need a ground Hoover vacuum machine and pull all those bots out of the ground. ....
I have always been told that the Talladega dump was off of Jackson Trace Rd .... There is a locked gate...about 4-5 miles past the Jack's headed back towards Lincoln ...
Man, y’all had some really nice bottles in this one. Can’t believe you left us on that cliffhanger like that. Killer bottles, congrats! Enjoyed watching the video!
You hit a bottle mine. So cool. It’s even cooler finding that Talladega bottle. I have relatives from there n my uncle raced at Talladega for 25 years back in the 60 tys n 70 Ty’s. He was the # 1 race car driver. His name was James T Brasher but went by as T Bone or Bones Brasher. I’m just thrilled you found that. I’m really looking forward to the continuing of this video. Keep digging . ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍👍
Wow man that’s a wild spot your in ! What some awesome finds ! More more more ! Thanks for sharing. Need to see y’all pull more of these killer finds !
Absolutely amazing spot you guys found. I keep driving by a hillside on the outskirt of town that has to have had something dumped there in the past. The river is right at the bottom and I have been down there years ago but on the other side of the river. Can't wait to check it out this fall.
What an amazing dump. Such a crazy number of great bottles. All of the straight side Cokes. Plus that water and the ink!!! I know what you mean about how they feel. Happy hunting and be well
@@adventurearchaeology I noticed. Thank you for the warm welcome. I have binge watched about 10 at least so far 😂😁 Such fun adventures I love them all so far 😉
I’m sure you’ve already done research, but that Lexington Street Brewing Company was opened in 1898 and closed in 190. So only 3 years! I’m from louisville and big into beer. Good rare find, makes you wonder how it wound up down there 😎
Gotta say, Brandon....Mrs. Adventure Archeology isn't going to be happy that you didn't bring here along on this hunt! But awesome finds!! Hope there's more like this in your future!! Take care, be safe and God bless!
When you polish an old bottle in the polish machine. Is it desired to leave some patina on the bottle? kind of not polish them to mirror finish. Like you do with drinking glass made out of broken bottles. As they are more utility articles, not antiques per se
Brandon , this time you could have made a two hour video and we would all watch till the end . Great finds .
Me too😂💕
Complete truth!! I would watch the whole thing!! So many amazing whole bottles!!!👍👍❤️❤️
I agree!😃
Sorry for the poison ivy misery!
Brandon you need to make these longer where you have great digs like this.
I have to keep content coming weekly so I have to split them up as I don’t film but 1 day a week typically haha
Incredible day!! I can't thank the guys enough for the invite!!

New subscriber here. Looks like you have a great system for finding amazing locations. Great job on all the bottles.
Brandon has finally admitted his trick for finding bottles! He's got Doc Brown tied up in his shed!
Where is the rest of the video? I would love to see the whole video.
Let me no if you run across one from kansas city mo.! Nice that your finding so many in such good shape!
Longer videos!!! Show the whiskey 😂😂😂
Finding a honey hole like that... I would not see how you all would not pitch a tent and stay there till you dug out EVERYTHING....
I feel you on that one I would be there until it was empty, call the wife to bring supplies and tent and im not leaving lol
Seriously; map out the map dump snd don’t fill in till you know it’s empty
Looks like so much fun...finding treasure! How do you find local old dump sites? I live in Kings Mountain, NC
We have a video on that 😎
Better watch out, byedan will send the IRS to collect!
