"Went on to be become CEO of Stanley mugs" Hilarious!!
where they have forest green Stanley cups in every target in America
@@CharlieBerens to say nothing of the OG Stanley...which was indeed forest green.
@@ericvaughn1126 We have one. It is in a place of honor. 😄
I'll say this my grandpa carried and Stanley thermos to work 50 years ago and still has it. What is genius is how you market something to idiots lol
@@shred_zed1let's be honest. If you make anything in a variety of pretty colors and then make a few of them 'limited editions' females will buy that crap. "My cup MUST match my purse, my shoes, and my personality at the exact moment I am holding it!" Now if you will excuse me, I'm gonna go drink a half gallon of ice water out of my thermoflask that is the exact color of my purse.
"White coolers for white collars, baby!" Class A line.
I got a Yeti 32oz tumbler as a gift once. It was identical to the various Stanley, Ozark Trail, & other random cheap cups I use every day.
I have a habit of leaving my coffee cup wherever I am when I finish it at work.
I always track it down at the end of the day.
But the Yeti disappeared the first time I left it unattended.
I don't even care, it just cracks me up that someone will steal a dirty coffee cup from a coworker just because it says Yeti. Lol
Did you respond with murder?
Brands are mainly used as a flex. They make more sense if you think of it as jewelery rather than a tool. What yeti did was genius if you think bout it
Someone at work stole my favorite Starbucks tumbler!
They just wanted the sticker
What about the yeti bucket? A glorified Home Depot bucket for 7x the cost.
This better not be a thing when I Google it just now.
Edit: oh what the heck get out of here
You mean 50x, the bucket is $150 on their website.
You Betcha actually did a "review" of the bucket. It's a good one, check it out
It’s a nice damn bucket. And food safe.
@@ryansimosnon1173 For $8 you can get a food safe 5 gallon bucket at Menards.
Our company has 5 of the big ones in the warehouse that get borrowed every time someone has a party. Crazy how many thousands of dollars they spent to keep ice from melting just a little bit linger.
Longer*
Linger, makes sense that they hire poor spelling people
Oh word???
Quite a bit longer. It's the only cooler that's made it a week on the river with me.
Gosh, are people not allowed typos… pettY AF.
"Project Farm" did a scientific study of thermos, including how long the coldest and hotest liquids in them stayed the longest ------- YETI finished DEAD LAST in all of the several testing products !
Wait I thought they finished first for ice lasting longest
Sound business model. I once sold a truck that I undervalued. I got it in a trade and advertised it for $6000. After 2 weeks of no interest I was telling a parts vendor about it. He said " You priced it too cheap, people will think there is something wrong with it". I sold it a few days later for $10,500 to a very happy guy.
I have the WalMart ''Yeti style" cooler. It was about 100 bucks. The latches are better designed and it keeps food cold for 5+ days. My old coolers won't last a short weekend. I sometimes go camping for 4-5 days and was tired of buying ice in the middle of the trip. Last time I put the ice blocks in the expensive cooler and put them in the cheap cooler as needed throughout the week.
My parents gave me a YETI 20 cooler for Christmas about 10 years ago. Its so small inside that my inexpensive Coleman gets used about 80% of the time...
Those damn Yetis are so small on the inside
Fr man I use a Coleman as well it’s a full size cooler that could hold probably like 70-100 cans and one time I left the ice in it to see how long it would last and outside in the Florida sun it had ice in it for 3 days😂
you both work so well together in skits :) I love it
incredible work gents
Meanwhile... I am still using an igloo cooler my dad bought in the 1970's. Oh sure it's mostly Duct tape and superglue at this point but it still works.
I don’t know if falling in the chair was on purpose but it was perfect
Forgot to mention, "We'll have it made in China!"
I used a Yeti as my fridge when I lived in the van. In Texas. It does in fact hold ice for a week if you salt the ice. 10/10
Other companies do the same, for cheaper, and aren't made in China
I rented a houseboat for a week and it had a large cooler out in the front deck. In addition to the refrigerator inside.
With blocks of ice it kept our drinks cold fine. Not a Yeti, in August
@@recoveringsoul755I haven’t seen a block of ice for sale anywhere in years….. 😢 pretty sad they don’t sell them anymore where I live
@@journeyfurthur6396 they work to good... crushed ice melts block up!
Hmm? Salt makes ice melt at a lower temperature. That's why we use it on sidewalks and roads.
I can testify, I cannot get into these coolers.
Nope! Er, I mean, "Ope! $200? Geez Louise!" 😂
If this video doesn’t go viral, that’s would be a crime
the real crime is $300 for a cooler
@@CharlieBerens yes!
Yeti needs to make a plastic shopping bag, reminiscent of the "Bag 'o Bags" but it's the "Yeti 'o Yetis"
😂
"Stanley mugs" 🤣🤣 I love these skits!!
There’s actually a place in Wyoming where they test things to see if they’re actually bear proof. I wonder if anyone’s actually tested Yeti coolers for that.
They have.
They have.
They'll just change the marketing to claim it's "Yeti-proof."
Can't _disprove_ that.
Are you thinking of Bozeman Montana ?
I know that’s where a lot of coolers are tested never heard of it In Wyoming
not to say they couldn’t
Mine made it thru a black bear clawing at it, rolled the cooler down a hill and the latches stayed shut. The plastic has claw marks on the top as a badge of honor 😝🐻
I lifted a YETI cooler. Blew out my lower back, contacted sepsis from steroid injections into my lower back, had reconstructive lower back surgery, and I'm still recovering. Yep, I'm going out and buying another over weight, over priced, cooler so I can store a couple of chilled beers, a one chilled brat ... because I'm an American and I can :)
Disclaimer: Most of the above story is true ...
When you said "lifted" I first thought "shoplifted?" D'oh 🤦
Wow.
Love these brainstorming skits! X)
Damn, we’re so lucky all these riches freed up Charlie’s time so he could dedicate it to bringing us skits and comic gold!
I like how Miles wrote on his shirt with marker @2:39. Adds to hilarity!
Charlie, this is on par with your IKEA video, possibly even better. I think you're on to something with your all capital 4 letter company bits. May I suggest DKNY for your next effort!? And then VRBO right after that!? And OREO....
There's so MANY to choose from!
JNCO? I miss them /:
Don’t forget the yeti dog bowl $60 I guess I shoulda listened to the end😂
My grandparents cooler was actually attacked by a bear 😂
one of my favorite skits from both of them. Too funny
The laughs after Tyler suggested green be the color🤣
Most true video on the internet!!!
TRUTH. Not just Yeti, but every brand on the market. Nothing truer than this.
Starbucks started it. “Fifty cents for coffee? Eff that, two bucks, minimum.”
I have 2 yeti coolers, but i got my first one in Iraq and it did keep my shit cool so i became a customer for life.
haji coolers? keeps your bombs, er, beer, er, water cold!
Charlie nearly wiping out in the office chair 😂
I’ve been saying this for years😂😅 ford f150 add fox shocks $200k, 4wheeler put the seats next to each other $60k
I’d never encountered Yeti, before.
Had to look it up.
Nailed it. 😆👍
The share-ability of this video is *chef's kiss*
cripes thanks im blushing
@@CharlieBerens Boy, you earned it. Thanks for the laughs. This better go viral.
Nothing is greater than showing Yeti customers that my Coleman lid can be filled with ice.
i can't believe they actually sell a $200 blanket
Spot on! My Lincoln Outfitters cooler from Rural King cost me $78 n it holds ice longer than the yeti and it’s olive green!!!!.
“Name things that are cold”… “Revenge” lol😂
I was watching the rich kid school at the pool. 30 kids in the pool. 30 big Yeti water bottles at the end. I hadn't heard of Yeti before, and now they are everywhere here in Aus.
I bought a portable car fridge for half the price of a yeti, with roughly the same capacity…. So ridiculous.
it's ok to be poor
Won't that kill your car battery?
I like that Myles accidentally marked his shirt with the marker at 2:40.
I don't know how you guys do it. You continue to make great content!😂
Keep it up....uh I mean "keep er movin"
This is Gold! So Accurate!! 🤣😂🤣😂
Chuckling at this as I drink from my Yeti tumbler
It's been 2 hours, and my cider is still piping hot
The tumblers and mugs are worth it IMO.
The coolers and blankets? Ehhhh...
Better for cold beverages than hot. My soda with ice is drinkable temperature upon pouring, however my hot tea is not until it cools down a bit. I usually have to wait an hour before I can sip the tea.
@@fecat93 I throw an ice cube or two in there so I don't have to wait so long
And the rest of us are chuckling with our ozark trail tumbler that does the same thing for 1/3 the cost :) but hey you look cool man!
Why does anyone want to keep the same beverage for hours?
Ive had great luck out of a $70 marine cooler. Hell even the ozark trail coolers are great
My uncle bought me one of those huge Yeti's and i was so mad at him that he did. It's because i went to visit him (i have to cook all my own food bc of a medical thing) ..and he wanted to send more groceries home with me than my "little" cooler could hold.
I still think he didnt have to go buy the most expensive Yeti at the time, a styrofoam cooler would have done the trick.. it was a seven hour drive and i haven't used it since!
styrofoam does the trick I tell ya what
Sell it and then you’ll have next month’s car payment 🤷♀️
@@kimberlychase-bl5qqwhy?
@CharlieBerens You meant 'plastic-free, coconut fibre matting' but we getcha.
You're blessed to have such a caring uncle. ♡
My mind was blown when I learned this about Yeti
Don’t forget to put stickers on your vehicle so you can advertise for them…I mean look like your sponsored 😂
"Outdoors! 💪🏼😤"
🤣
new slogan alert
I actually own a forest green yeti 😂
You nailed it!
This is Spot on!!
Jeez Tyler 😂
It's like you guys heard the conversation I had with my wife in bass pro. Love it! You guys are on point.
got a free $200 Yeti cooler from my team at an AMD internship. pretty good to sit on and feels very heavy duty compared to cheapo coolers
I go out for a week at a time so that long lasting cold is important but I went with an RTIC because they stole the cooler from Yeti and charge $100 less. As for weight, it sits in the back of the Liberty so weight isn't really an issue.
Best video I've seen in a while!!
Bingo! I'm a FIB and even I won't buy a Yeti. It's just that ridiculous.
the first step to recovery is realizing you have a problem
@@ThinWhiteAxe I wanted to try counseling but the rest of the state won't go.
As a former FIB who emigrated to California, stay strong my brother. We must maintain the fight with those north of the cheddar curtain 😂
All hail the corn fields! 😂
@@hondahirny It's just ... sniff 😢... so hard
BWAAHHHHH!!! 😭
Oh and btw, F*** the Packers. 😜
Actually some great marketing advice in this video 😂
Super bummed I can't get off work to see Charlie in Bloomington on 1/25, maybe we can get him to join us for dinner at the fire department before the show!
Haha, great content as always!
Saw $80 YETI tumblers at the sporting goods store last week. WTF....was just like the rest but had their branding.
Outstanding!
Bring these vids back again!! 😂
Yeti- the only cooler that needs to be chained to your camper.
Spot on! I have a white Yeti 35 that I bought to carry prepped meals when I travel. I've only used it two or three times in the 4 years that I have owned it because the meal prep containers don't fit! You have to get very creative to fit 6 or 7 in there. Since they have to be tilted to fit, it can be a messy affair if one of the containers isnt sealed properly.
But it makes a great seat!
nailed it. well done.
we use it when we go camping and it works by far the best. and we still havent had to replace it. more then worth the price.
All those reasons are exactly why I happily own Igloo and Coleman coolers!
Absolutely perfect!!!!!!
you guys are spot on 👍
Love the wood on the wall
This is absolutely true. On the other hand... I got one as a gift, and I love it. Sonovagun is a tank. I like the fact that it's bear proof when I wheel it into the suburban summer festivals on my little fold-up wagon.
Life is short, and the Yeti costs a lot less than some other things I have actually bought that make me less happy.
Haven't seen a yeti, but you can't go past an esky. Been around for 140 years, still going strong.
Precious.
Best video ever!
2:39 Myles drew on himself with a marker
A lot of country music artists have been paid to include a favorable reference to YETI coolers in the lyrics of their songs. It works much better than regular commercials because people don't realize it's an advertisement.
This is great!!!!
And then came the $300 camping chair , brilliant :-) although I have to admit I have 4 coolers and there waterproof Panga . Great skit
i didnt even know about the $200 blanket
Poor Tyler lol
Nah he's fine, he went off to do great things
Where the hell did you find a Yeti tumbler for $30?
These guys are pretty good at brainstorming!😂😂
We don't have to listen to you Tyler. Words to live by!
This was like a family-friendly version of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia lol
The best part of this is the Engl line. They were doing it way earlier. And just as good.
This was fuggin gold 😂😂😂
Yeti coolers are great for camping, especially when it's hot. But if you really want one, get an RTIC cooler. It's literally the same design for a lot less.
You hit the nail on the head there, buds.
That's a good jump there at the end fellas.
Nice aluminum MacBook and iPhone in 2006. My immersion was totally broken.
Yeti is the bomb as someone who has camped boondock my entire life (41yo) hands down yeti is second to none
Have to say, I LOVE my Yetis!!!😂
I was in a notorious task force when I was in service. We would get high end brands and prototype gadgets and test them out in real world scenarios (dragon scale armor, white hot scopes, even personal entertainment stuff).
Keeping our beverages cool was important, we’d be on mission for days at a time. So we tested coolers, ran three in the back and would check the ice level after 24-48 hours and drop the weakest.
Eventually we ran into a cooler that was insanely effective. This thing kept full ice for 5 days of use. It was impressive and one of the few products that everyone on the team was happy about. So they got our endorsement, which meant government funding for them. After that Yeti blew up
YETI is the Supreme of outdoor supplies
❤ made my day!
You don't need coolers in WI! In AZ, we have our own brand out of Flagstaff (Canyon Coolers), just as good, less $$. Keeps meat frozen for 3+ days in 100 degree weather.
The cups are worth their weight in gold
White coolers for white collars would likely sell even more of them 🤣
The fact that a bottle opener from Yeti is 125 is obscene
