I can't thank u enough for your cristal clear explanation about the difference between private and public IP.... I searched a lot but haven't reached the exact answer till I saw ur video...keep up the good work
Hello Sir, If private IP addresses are free, why can we said that < If we do not subnet, we will waste private IP addresses spaces? > I understand that subnetting private IP is important to facilitate hierarchical networks, but how we are wasting them exactly, since NAT is even there. Thanks you very much to help me understand this Sir.
We only have limited Addresses allocated for a particular organisation(private IPs), they may have humongous ranges of systems, hence subnetting is very much needed there. If we dont do a subnetting, we are indirectly wasting a network, for example, if 192.168.2.0, network has only 5 systems(including BD and Host address), we are wasting around 250 IP address and remember 2.0 network cant be used else where, hence the 2.0 networking is further broken down, organisation can use it for two difference departments. for example, 2.0 networking can be further broken down into two network(2.0-2.127 and 2.128-2.255), one of those can be used for the accounts department and the other for sales department. Hence subnetting is very much important even for private IP.
Hi sir I have a little doubt In company's they take one public ip and convert to private IP addres to there system's . How all users can access net with there ?
yes. that is ip conflict in same ip address for different machine with in organization. private ip:we are using private ip ranges with in an organization but not routed over internet public ip:across the internet. solution:192.168.1.1. they are accessing in same ip address from different organization through internet. that is only case. we have purchase public ip from ISP end(iana) and we are using natting in this scanario. converted from private ip to public ip
This is incredible. Struggling to understand for many years and today my day. THANK YOU VERY MUCH .

Excellent explanation, understand in one go with super ease.
you made me a better network engineer Thanks sir please reply if you see this it will mean a lot to me 😄
Thank you this really helped me to understand what the real meaning behind the private ip address and public ip
This video was seriously helpful to me.
Excellent finally understand thank you :)
Excellent teaching....
Good video, thanks for sharing !

Hi sir
I have a little doubt
In company's they take one public ip and convert to private IP addres to there system's .
How all users can access net with there ?
More then amazing.
Really great . Thanks
Class is good. I have a doubt that Is 1.1.1.1 is routable?
Yes
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
👍🏻
good sir ,
amazing
In a LAN network we can not assigned same IP address to different systems. in ur video example 192.168.1.1. I don't think it is possible.
Yes. Ip address conflicts
yes. that is ip conflict in same ip address for different machine with in organization.
private ip:we are using private ip ranges with in an organization but not routed over internet
public ip:across the internet.
solution:192.168.1.1. they are
accessing in
same ip address from different organization through internet. that is only case. we have purchase public ip from ISP end(iana) and we are using natting in this scanario. converted from private ip to public ip
