When you really read into the lyrics and break down what theyre saying, this is probably the most depressing and tragic thing to come out of the sonic series. Its supposed to sound deceptively romantic and dreamy because silver can only be happy in his sleep. It nakes you really understand what this is his Credits theme, it only makes sense if you finished his story.

I'm not talking about the creation of another timeline here but, Iblis, the being who creates Silver's bad future, is one half of Solaris the time/space god. Sonic, Shadow and Silver in their respective super forms *Erase* Solaris from all possible Timelines and Dimensions. Which means that Silver can't exist in a future that also doesn't exist because there's no Iblis or Solaris to create it. Sega's solution? Silver is from the same dimension Blaze is as described in Sonic Rivals 2. EXCEPT IN '06 BLAZE IS FROM THE SAME BAD FUTURE SILVER IS! At the end of Silver's campaign she sends herself to another dimension... But since Solaris is completely erased there's no need for her to have sent herself away. So Blaze is just from another dimension again, one she shares with Silver. Did you get all that? I hope so 'cuz I don't. Sonic lore's weird. And if my theory about Sonic being a creation of the Ancients holds true it's going to get weirder.

I recommend checking out some Sonic generation remixes. Those are fan favorites and all of them are AMAZING. Some of my top picks(and most popular) is Big arms theme, Egg dragoon, and the modern sonic city escape. All of these tracks are from the game sonic generations and i highly recommend checking them out!
My favorite version of DOAA (and one you might really like) is the 2011 version. It's just the one I've enjoyed the most, especially the guitar and guitar solo.
Silver was pretty hated when he first came out in Sonic 06, namely because his boss fight was annoying and was tricked into trying to kill Sonic, a rehash of what Knuckles did. Another reason could be because he's too much like Trunks from DBZ. These days he's much more liked because the IDW comics developed him better, even if it's just "Guys! The future is fricked! You have to fix it!" I'll admit I don't hate Silver as much as I used to

I mean, a lot of Sonic is very clearly based off of DBZ. Sonic is Goku, Shadow is Vegeta, and Silver is Trunks. Also Knuckles is Piccolo. As for all the other characters, it's a bit harder to really do direct comparisons, because they're either significantly different, or are more like parts of a character (or multiple characters). Like how Amy Rose has some characteristics of Chichi, but also a hint of Bulma. (A dangerous combo) Tails kinda more fits the position of Krillin without being like Krillin at all. Team Chaotix (Vector, Espio, & Charmy) is kinda like Pilaf's group. (Pilaf, Mei, and whatever the dog-guy's name is.) Honestly I feel that comparison is too accurate, and I kinda wish I didn't realize it. Cream & Cheese is well.. maybe Yamcha & Puar? Idk. Can't think of anyone else with any sort of dynamic like Cream & Cheese. Big the Cat... Majin Buu? ...moving on.. Metal Sonic could perhaps be Cell. I don't think there's any comparison with Rouge.
I find this song even a little sad. Because, it plays right after Silver lost his best and only friend. And it's sad, wanting to save the whole world, Silver clearly did not expect that he would have to sacrifice something really expensive. And he dreams of an absolution, right after this scene. That's sad. However, Silver was not broken even by the loss of his friend, and he was still optimistic about winning against evil. And it shows how emotionally strong Silver is.
Ahh silver the underutlised protagonist he was meant to be as impactful as shadow but because of 06 faliure he was not liked sega doesnt use him my wish is that we get a game with silver being sonics main partner at least he was very important in the comics
Song and the videos! The futuristic tone of the song + silver being your typical "futuristic color"... then the scenes in the video helped lololol. Someone in chat mentioned that one of the Sonic characters was kinda like Trunks from DBZ, and another was like Vegeta. Trunks being from the future. Theorizing after watching the video made me realize and reminded me that the character that was talked about was probably Silver.
Someone mentioned Trunks and Vegeta during the 30th anniversary symphony reaction, and seeing the video helped me put 2 and 2 together. Yesmen10 put enough context clues for me to get enough of it? Wasn't sure on the self-sacrificig part though; it just looked like he attacked Sonic in that one scene. But since I assumed Silver was a good guy, he probably knocked him out so Silver could handle whatever the issue was on his own. That's probably wrong though XD
