I noticed a relationship between the hook-slice and ring distance. If the ring distance is 1 then the hook-slice will be 27-rings. This ratio seems to work on all the clubs. This is a way to determine the hook-slice distance if you only know the ring distance. For example if a single ring distance is 3 then the hook-slice would be 9 rings of adjustment. This is an easy way to judge if your ring estimate is close; by doing a good hook-slice then dividing that distance by 27. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

that was Actually pretty helpful. you were throwing me off with bullseye counting and your interpretation of what that means. I've been counting rings when I slice before. but take your thor for example. you say you do 2 bullseyes. and you do BUT then you say it was 20 rings. but it's not. it's technically 15 rings. it's one full bullseye, 10 rings, plus only 5, which is halfway into your second bullseye. anyway once I got past that misnomer, I learned a LOT HERE! never really understood about the angle of degree that slicing changing the trajectory. and how to visualize that Able to the pin. so thanks again
This is exactly the comment I wanted to leave, glad I read down to see it had already been posted. He sets up the edge of his bullseye at his target landing point, then goes 10 rings more, then takes off 2-3 rings,... so yeah,... if he started with the bullseye on the landing point (the way I aim it), it would be 1 full bullseye, then add 2-3 rings. I feel like this leaves fewer opportunities for error. For apocalypse 2/3 in low wind, I find 13 rings works pretty damn well.
Hey Zach, I have had tremendous results using Max curl for distance on my rough iron and sand wedge. As a matter of fact I just won a round that I should’ve lost using Max curl with my rough iron. The added momentum using that type of shot got me considerable extra distance which got me on to the green. In reviewing the shot later I think a counter curl would’ve gotten me closer to the pin and I’m curious if a counter curl shot will create similar momentum and distant. Thanks for all your help these videos are fantastic help! Ben
When you extend your bullseyes to see the max for your club, I noticed that the blue arrows can move further than the bullseye (29:35 into the video). Can you tell me what this means and its significance?
Im curious if you have any info on actual number figures for swing curl, under power and over powering shots via thumb position relative to where the ball sits and also how these numbers vary depending on the club. it would be useful to know for fine tuning shots that need a small amount of adjustment from time to time rather then a power hook or power slice. Thank you in advance.
I do not. But in the GCN app there is a shot simulator that shows really good estimates for the distance percentages at different finger positions for over and under power. If you were to take that clubs distance, say number 10 with distance of 172 and pull to 99.0% you can assume you are near distance of 172-1.72 yards or 170.28 yardage. So it helps you under how many rings you are short hitting it, for instance about 1 and 3/4 of a ring short hit for this case.
@@zrjones1984 Interesting. I don’t get how you count rings? First you move the yellow bullseye 5 rings so the white outskirt ends up where the ball should land. Then you move the bullseye a full 10 rings for a total of 15 rings, not 20? Finally you move back about two rings giving you 13 rings. I’m I missing something?
My thoughts exactly... the middle of the target is at 15 rings total when he says 20 rings!!! There's nothing about it that is 20 rings!!! He starts off with 5 rings because the outer white is at the target zone --- that's 5 rings exactly... then he puts on another bullseye over -- which is 10 rings total (to the middle of the target).--- so that's 15 rings. am I missing something here!?!?!?
Steve Colwill I use about 12-15 rings depending on driver and that works fine. Adding ~2 rings per 5mph tailwind and deduct ~2 in headwind. Adjusting as usual for sidewind first.
No. First he moves one full target so the edge of the outer ring (the white one) is exactly where the landing zone is, so that's 10 rings. Then he moves another full target, so 20 rings.
Mattew84 Yes, but the center of his final bullseye, where he's aiming the shot, is only 5 rings, not 10. I know this from experience being that I use my EM 4 with a 12 ring adjustment, give or take for wind, and it works perfectly.
Look at 11:50. U can see that hes using the right edge of the outer ring (white one) to visualize his landing zone: that's 10 rings. Then from the opposite edge of the outer ring (the left edge then) he moves another full target, so 10 more rings. THATS 20 period. Then he moves back a couple as in all the other shots. Hope now everything is clear to u guys
Thanks Zachary. Good video, but in my opinion you could make GREAT videos if you would edit them. Make them MUCH shorter, containing only really good, relevant content. A lot of us don't have 1 hour 23 min for Chapter One. Anyway, thanks.
I believe our loosing streaks are caused by the program itself regardless of what the creators tell us. If i stick 50 bucks in the game, buy some gems, get some coins, I'm guaranteed to have a loosing streak until 80% of what I bought is gone. The ball does what ever it wants. The wind will affect my shot if I don't allow for it and won't affect my shot if I do allow for it. Easy chip shots will ring the cup or stop an inch short. Opponents will make 150 yard chip ins for albatrosses and eagles or hole in ones on draw shots. Not just one but three or four in a row. Perfect shots with a perfect set up dont go any where near where they should. I lost 12 holes in a row when i should have lost four. They say they do nothing to cause anyone to loose but its pretty obvious that they do.Sometimes its so obvious that it makes a person a bit mad.
I'm having a hard time winning matches now as well when I've won 17 in a row in the past. One thing I've noticed is our clan ends in a few days and so does the promotion upgrade. It seems like everyone I'm playing right now is much more powered up than I am. They have clubs 3 levels up from my clubs and they simply have the advantage. I will struggle to make a good first shot when they breeze over the rough grass with no problem at all. One little mishap on my part and I usually lose.
i don't believe in doing the fancy hot shit hooking or use rings,i just play along with the game as it goes, why not just hit straight right of the trees,it would be a good enough drive for me,another thing i don't believe in over power swinging into the red..MAX.,i have extra mile at leval 5,i put max follow and pull back lil bit below center or just before white changes color,i get good enough yards for drive,i try to be conservative, and my eyes cant take it when needle goes back n forth realy fast.
One of the advantages of hooking and slicing is that the arrow pauses at each end of the arc. So it's much easier to get the shot you want than it is with overpowering and trying to hit perfect. There are some holes where it's a real advantage to do it that way. For example, Santa Ventura hole 3, on tour 2. Use Extra Mile. Put your left blue ring on the edge of the first cut of rough, adjust for wind as usual. Take max topspin. Overpower as much as possible with max left curl, max hook your shot, and you'll be on the fairway behind the middle bunker on the right, with a medium-range long iron shot to get on the green. If you don't hook the shot, you'll either be in the rough or left with a wood shot over the greenside bunker.

It could just be the fact that a ring is only half of the full circle. So the full bullseye is considered 10 rings not the 5 complete rings you visually see. Hopefully that helps clear it up for you

Wah wah wah! What a bunch of crybabies. It’s just a game. If you’re not having fun, don’t play.
you are ow some
man
Slice & hook are bad things... Draw and fade are good things !
Counter hook? You mean slice!!!!
i don't believe in doing the fancy hot shit hooking or use rings,i just play along with the game as it goes, why not just hit straight right of the trees,it would be a good enough drive for me,another thing i don't believe in over power swinging into the red..MAX.,i have extra mile at leval 5,i put max follow and pull back lil bit below center or just before white changes color,i get good enough yards for drive,i try to be conservative, and my eyes cant take it when needle goes back n forth realy fast.
if you really believed that Eric Kort. why are you here watching this?
Pussy
Eyes can’t take it? Do you watch your needle go back and forth? Lol
@@robertrodes1546 i quit playing the game, pro feel golf game is better..no guidelines when putting, its more of a challenge, has challenges for every course, check it out,the other guy that has youtube channel of the golf clash, how can he play just that game
Hey, thanks a ton for the video. Maybe you could help me understand it better. It doesn't look like you ever move 18 rings when you say you did. It looks like you move maybe half that. What (else) is wrong with my brain? Again, thanks for taking such a big chunk out of your life to help us out!
It could just be the fact that a ring is only half of the full circle. So the full bullseye is considered 10 rings not the 5 complete rings you visually see. Hopefully that helps clear it up for you
It seems that GameCrook is the sole legit website for free gems, coins, gold or whatever. All the rest are a total scam.
Not very well explained
I was in the tournament and my opponent was real good. His second shot 6 yds away in two on a par five. He deliberately missed his eagle. This has happened before. This was not a real player, but a deliberate recording. Plus I had two easy EAGLES GC pushed the ball away from the hole. CHEATING GAME
Uhmmmmp
Many many scam web apps in the comments. Only that works for me is Gamecrook.
Yo, it looks like Gamecrook is only working site for free coins and gems for free.

I play golf clash cuz it's fun but I stumble on to a video like this and it makes not wanna play. This is like a math class for fun video. Didn't know physics was a pre req to golf clash. Bro your putting way too much on a freakin game on our phones/tablets. We can't even win real prizes for learning to make a shot look nice. I been doing fine without all this technical shit. Don't get me wrong I understand what your saying but how many people are really soaking everything your saying. You come off as a now it all I'm cool look at how cool my shots look his is my whole life type of guy.

Gamecrook works but I don't know how.
