A documentary on the Panda mother and baby. A study of the behaviors of the loving mother and the infant. Interesting wildlife, animals and research documentary.
Eimei or YongMing 永明 in Chinese is now 30 years old a few days ago on 23rd February 2023 returned to Chengdu with his 8 year old twin daughters Ouhin 桜浜 and Touhin 桃浜 and all I can say is thank you to the Japanese staff for taking such good care of the pandas. An excellent documentary film. Thank you.
The tiny cell like cage & little garden- they can afford 20 staff a panda & all the money bought in from the tourists.. couldn't some of that go towards bigger spaces for pandas to live in 😢
When the panda is happy sad giving birth or dying it has the same expression, but the narrator said “it looks worried” how did he work that out? lol 🐼 lol
I enjoyed watching this documentary very much, gave me an insight into the hard work given to look after the pandas, and the babies were so tiny when they were born, yet the labour was so painful.
What a wonderful video!!! 👏👏👏 It is not just about thechnical información but also acknowledge of the nature than every man must respect and let it act in this amaizing equilibrium of this living universe. Thank thank thank very much 🤗✨🌈✨
Great documentary. Shows a different philosophy of treating giant pandas. Even have a sense of humour which not usual for Japanese documentaries. Well done to all staff and NHK.
6:58 that’s a position worthy of adding to the Kama sutra manual lol “ok we do panda style, it’s like doggy style only slower with random dirty talk yelps and pulling on hair”
OMG! It is an incredible video. I have seen others but not as wonderful as this one. About how long is their gestation period. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video💜💜
I dont get it ...to prevent extinction, take loads of pandas and basically endure them to a life in a prison cell and a little garden, turn them into baby bearers - stress them out by continually intervening with their babies! Its ridiculous!!!
The commentary was so weird, the lady takes away the baby, the mom starts crying, and the narrator says she's making a odd noise, of course she is, she is crying cause you took her daugther from her, what a weird script
The delivery was quite painful for the mother Panda. I felt sorry for her, as, she needed some assistance but, did not receive an., I'm so glad that I chose not to have children, to difficult and painful.
The breeding process is bizarre, needless to say. I can only imagine how awkward and stressful it must be for any creature in captivity. Reminds me of the scene in Conan The Barbarian when he was caged, yet, "bred to the finest of stock". Only, his captors and watchers did not turn a hose on him in the middle of the act. Poor pandas... Wouldn't have to be this way for them if it weren't for human interference to begin with.
Being on show for 20+ years, being watched AND SPRAYED WITH HOSES !!!! HOW CAN THIS BE CALLED HUMANE??? THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE TO THE WORST EXTENT!!!!😢😢😢😢

I love Pandas, but the commentary on this "documentary" literally made me throw up.
Can't say I was impressed w/this video either

They had to spray so the female could get away. The male was being too rough. That's also why they watch them, to protect the female.
