What’s the best to use if your trying to store videos with audio from your laptop onto an SD card? I have a Anker 7-in-1 USB C Hub with 4K HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, USB-C and 2 USB-A 5 Gbps Data Ports, microSD and SD Card Reader. I’m just trying to load videos from my laptop on to an SD Card just to have for safe keeping’s. Is it possible to do this?
Hi Anthony 👋👋.....I'm looking for a micro SD card for my mobile storage...I take lot of videos...which usually I run out of space on my phone... last time I have a SanDisk Extreme128GB microSDXC UHS-I, 190MB/s Read,90MB/s Write Memory Card for 4K.. so can you please suggest me a better one or should I go for this again 😊
You can't go wrong with any reputable brand. Major brands like Sandisk are often artificially inflated. Just look for the specs your camera needs. In My Case, the XT3 needs V90 Cards for 400mbps 4K. If you want the best bang for your buck get Cards from PNY ( based off of Amazon Germany).
Honestly Sandisk works great for me in terms of SD cards 64 GB is all you need for pictures but it’s not really a lot of storage space when taking video
Kinda sneaky how cameras record in Mbps and cards perform at MBps to make you think you need a card that writes at 200 MBps to record at 200 Mbps. 1MBps=8Mbps
Hi Anthony, I’m looking for some new cards and came across your video, I’m keen to understand what you meant by lexar cards aren’t fast enough for video, I am currently using v30 90mb/s write speed Sandisk cards for 4K 60fps and have no issues, meanwhile your video had lexar 1667x which should be 120mb/a write but you mention isn’t fast enough for video, can you elaborate?
Okay, this doesn't explain a lot. A lot of brands use the same nand flash manufactured by one or two suppliers, so really what you should be focusing on explaining to people is the TBW or write speed. Differences between class 10 and UHS-3 for example.
What do you mean lexar is not fast enough ? You show V60 UHS-II specs on those cards, thats a pretty strong statement to say Lexar doesn't actually deliver what they print on these cards in terms of specs & speed for 4K 60 fps. Whats the card do you use for 4K 60 fps ?
@@Trojanpige That looks like quite the card. Could you recommend a more modest card for non-professionals. I probably wouldn't need a card with that kind of performance. Regards
Do you know what bitrate your camera runs 1080p@60fps on? That should help you choose a card with the right specs. A bitrate of Different cameras can record 1080p@60fps at different nitrates so that can affect your choice. But I think an SD card with C-10 (Class 10, appears as a symbol with a 10 in the C on the card) should normally be good enough. So essentially the cheapest class 10 SD card from a reputable brand ought to be enough. There are other things to look for like the designations such as “Ultra”, “Extreme”, “Extreme Pro” (which are SanDisk's max data transfer designations with each being faster than the previous) but that shouldn't be much of an issue. I'd advise at least Extreme for a camera and ones of similar performance to that from other reputable brands. Though I think the class 10 bitrate thing would be your main concern. If you want to be safe you can opt for the U-3 (U symbol with a 3 in it) or the equivalent V30. That should cover all 1080p@60fps, it even touches on 4k recording at that point 😂
I’m getting a insta 369 x3 this week so I was wondering what memory card would you recommend or think will work better??? Thank you fyi great channel my brother
Lexar have cards that are just as fast as Sony or SanDisk... If your cards aren't fast enough you didn't buy a fast enough card from them, that's on you not Lexar....
This is my case! 😜 geni.us/kN143
Is there an shopping link for the sd cards

your extremely informative comment, for me, is the best take-away of everything here incl both the video and the comments section.
very very helpful !
Is this good though? It's like 8x faster then? Or 1/8th? Lol
What do you mean with lexar can't handle 4k video? they're UHS-II V60 C10, what else do you need?
Exactly? All my cards are Lexar I have no issues? Someone elaborate on “fast enough”
@@madsdesilvaI think v90 uhsii are better
For 4K60p v60 or v90 cards are the best
Yoooo where can I get that case 😮
Where’s the case from
Ha! It's this one: geni.us/kN143
Anthony , What do you think about Lexar? I think of buying one
Great, thank you for sharing

Is the case magnetic? Would the magnetics damage the microSD cards?
You should make a video of trying film photography
What do you use for your Canon R6 Mark II? I just got one today, because of your good reviews

So what would be best for a canon t7?
Which SD cards do you recommend for 4k 60fps video?
The CF express type B cards are cheap compared with the UHS-II why don't the new low to mid-range cameras start supporting it 🧐
Have you used the Samsung white cards

If i just wanna should videos in 4K, what would be your best recommendation in terms of performance, reliability and price?
Well i use one sd for my gopro , canon and my sony
Nice shirt Anthony! Do you play guitar?
What card you recommended for R6?
How are the lexar v60 not enough for 4k 60fps???
Lexar v90 1800 should be enough
Which sd most reliable?
I avoid lear like the plague. Sandisk extreme pro are my jam.
Bro got server in hand
What version Lexar are you comparing? I have Lexar Gold claim up-to 1300mb/sec ,1000 stable & 1750 read even the silver can sustain 1200
Samsungs have always been my favs. The fastest and not overly priced
nice led lights
What drone do you have?
Does i use sandisk extreme 128gb in my dji air 3??
How long does it work for v380 cctv camera?
What is the name of the memory card case that you?
Sweet thank you
Lexar too slow?! You bought wrong Lexar cards for your purpose. I use Lexar and Sandisk - the both are really good brands.
Is Lexar a good brand? I just need a reliable card for photos and 1080p@60 video.
Yes. I have the Lexar 128gb 1667x. I shoot wedding videos and I've never had any issues with it yet.

Will Sandisk memory card be very hot for R5 photo or video shooting?
Hi, Prograde V60 card can shoot 4k 60?
What (micro)SDcard should I use for a canon G10 if I want to record and take photos?
That explains why my Lexar V90 doesn't work on most my video settings
Can those work on Nintendo switch
I personally use kodaks
What case is that?!
Hey wait, do you play guitar?? Cool shirt! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
What about for apps?
How do you know what speed you need for what type of filming. I have an eos R that can do 4k 60 Fps and Im worried I have the wrong stuff
That doesn't matters at all look up the speeds of trusty brands and you're good to go speed matters only
No type a card for sony?
Levar is faster and cheaper! Am I missing something? If it’s worse quality, ok, but it’s definitely not slower.
why don't you provide link
I’m getting a insta 369 x3 this week so I was wondering what memory card would you recommend or think will work better??? Thank you fyi great channel my brother
What card you went with ?
Is a cf express and sd the same I have a canon r10 and was wondering if that’s a possible upgrade?
cf is 'compact flash' and is large, square, thick.
sd is 'secure digital' and is small, rectangular, thin.
Can anyone please tell me the name of the first memory card he mentioned. 🙏🏻
SanDisk Extreme Pro
Which is the newest For #motorolaonefusionplus 128gb memory card
Amm, all v90 will have no trouble recording 4k 60fps so you mentioning a brand not being able to record is stupid
How bout lexar 1800x?
What about Samsung?
not good in sd cards for sony cameras
My nikon d3100 cannot read sd card why
why sandisk? 😢
The autofocus of canon 😬
I just bought an R5 camera today not realizing it uses a $300 memory card…
Ooof
u made a mistake on Lexar. yours is slow as it is not v90 so we cant say Lexar is not fast enough
i always need a memory card bro.😭
why? do you have enough memory in the memory card?
Lexar have cards that are just as fast as Sony or SanDisk... If your cards aren't fast enough you didn't buy a fast enough card from them, that's on you not Lexar....
are SanDisk sd cards good?
Of course! Pick a pro version
Bro has terabytes on terabytes
Why so many cards?
So my sandisk extreme are trash lol
That's all I get 😂
@@fillerbunnyninjashark271 same 😂
