Hi my lovely Amanda so sorry to hear that your both having days not feeling well. I have just watched your great video making the soup it looks amazing as always. The only reason I'm watching it late been at Carlisle today at the hospital. Anyway Amanda both of you start feeling well again soon. Love Ann in cumbria.xx. ❤❤❤.
That looks delicious mand thank you ,no shame in using bought pasta , I made minestrone soup yesterday with gluten free pasta for my daughter in law and it was very similar ingredients to yours very tasty 😋Amanda xx
Lovely. It’s a day and half before payday so it’s fridge gravel time. For my tea tonight I mad a soup of some leftover lentil & chick pea soup with a bit of rice, bulked out with some frozen mackerel. It was excellent fun to eat, the mackerel adding its own flavour and texture, star of the show.
Another great meal, I love soup, of any description. I never thought to use filled pasta in soup but it would be great and change it to something more substantial and with a nice home made bread roll, still warm from the oven with some butter, OMG!! now I’m hungry, maybe this will be my dinner tonight. Glad your both beginning to feel a little better.
I love minestrone soup and I do make it but next time I will use your recipe as it really appeals to me and I know my hubby would appreciate it 😊, I love your videos
Having a dinner lady binge day. ❤ nothing better And that soup looks delicious Amanda xx I’ve used your Parmesan rind trick in my bolognaise and it’s made all the difference. an
@@thedinnerlady9180 Me too Amanda, I don’t waste a thing. I even make veg stock with all my veg peelings and dipping skins from my potato peelings. That way you use the whole veg. I don’t like the ends of tomatoes in sandwiches, so I freeze and save. When I have a full bag, I make pasta sauce or soup. My son calls me a cheepskate, I just think it’s practical and any money you save on food can be used for little luxuries. I keep my Parmesan rinds too, like you. If I throw anything out, it’s like a funeral in my kitchen lmao xxxx
Hey Mand, great idea, I usually just add noodles to my soups but this is a great new twist to make it wholesome and filling. I have never made this soup before, Dave likes bread with plenty of butter on with chicken veg soup so I think this will save me making the bread too thanks for the new idea love as ever Maggie
I love a good soup especially with winter coming..Mandy I know you and Ian are busy people...but 🙏 could you make a soup like our grandparents used to .. soaking lentils and split peas...and chicken carcass and ham hock with celery and carrots onions and leeks.. PLEASE...this would be amazing.x
Never thought of using tortellini before as putting them in a savoury dish, so tonight I made bolognaise sauce and used spinach and ricotta tortellini for the pasta with some Gorgonzola cheese crumbled over the top, which gave it a little kick thanks to beddy using the “mouldy cheese “ in his cauliflower cheese the other day, keep cooking guys and using things we wouldn’t have thought of using xx
Perfect timing for a warming soup, thank you! We've actually had hail where we are today. No turning back now..🌨. Would love to see a clip of Missy zoom zomming one day..❤
A smashing soup for next to no cost and very little effort. I don’t know how much of the mushrooms flavour passes through the pasta and into the soup, but I think that I would try adding a few bits of dried mushrooms to the pan or a splash of mushroom ketchup just before serving.
Lovely soup, funny how some people think you can’t use some items in certain dishes.Beryl with a difficult to spell last name, does foods from around the World, and it’s so interesting to see how the World uses different foods, herbs, and spices in their cuisines.
I know it’s daft but I’m honestly so grateful, you’ve turned missy’s water fountain off. Lovely recipe Mand. I’ll be trying this one. Thanks so much. Btw tell Ian I did the banana and peanut butter biscuits. Soooooo good. 👌
