There are three major gaming experiences that Sorcery combines into one. The two as you put it, magic + chess, where you have a card game and a tactical game but there is also the role-playing game where you loosely mentioned about each Sorcery game feeling like a "telling of a story". This is true and why Sorcery is also part role-playing, not to mention picking a general-type Avatar when creating/playing a deck even further pulls from the role-playing factor. The Avatars feels like playing different classes in a Diablo game, even when building the deck. Sorcery is a mixture of these three amazing genres and it works so well it's a new experience with cards that I never knew I wanted before.
Been playing MTG since the 90’s and I cannot stress how AMAZING Sorcerytcg is. Finally the environment and terrain is a factor. Put it like this, you can connect 3 island zones and traverse it with sea monsters that have the ability to pull enemies to the underwater zone. The game almost feels like Magic the Gathering Met Settlers of Catan.
Im super interested in the vibe and I LOVE the art direction. I wish magic would go all hand-drawn art. The thing that scares me off is the grid. That looks annoying and like it wouldnt be conducive to casual multiplayer.
What is this 'realm' your speak of? And why is it contested? And why do I feel like the 4 cases of Alpha and 4 cases of Beta that I bought leave me wanting to buy.... EVEN MORE?!
Um...Metazoo had a chance because Rudy promoted. It was the creator and management that ruined it. The fall of Metazoo had nothing to do with Rudy if you have any intention of being accurate.
I was half-joking about Rudy ruining Sorcery. Though in all likelihood Sorcery will just become another dead TCG in a few years. Collectors are ruining the potential of the game to grow. When it comes to Metazoo … Rudy kept pumping Metazoo to his patrons even while knowing about all the red flags (terrible management, people not getting paid, etc), and fleeced his patrons for lots of money. Can’t really blame him for that tbh … because as the saying goes, a fool and his money are soon parted.
I want to like this game, but it just seems very boring. Its also strange to me how it got somewhat popular too. Im not saying that the game is bad or that its a dead tcg, but out of all the indie games to come out recently, I dont see how this became as popular as it did.

That playmat is unbelievable!! Gotta find one of those.
Great intro video! My kid recently got into this as well. Wild on the stone pull - amazing! Keep up the great content!
That's the way to pull a p stone!
I'm very close to creating a deck. The guys in the shop are great at spreading the love.
Great video Louie!
A great introduction with an even greater pull!
Sorcery is a gorgeous game that does not have enough supply ;)
Reminds me of when I pulled a Frazetta Death Dealer out of my Alpha Precon pack. Crazy Luck!
Great game to play!!!
It’s a shame Arthurian Legends won’t have pre-cons, I love how they had the Alpha and Beta bricks set up
Holy damn! Great pull
This looks amazing
Hell yea! Philo Stone babyyy!!!
Best stone pull ever!
A timely video 😜
Lmao what a pack! Makes me really miss the one kind of booster pack which Magic had.
Convert them Louie! One of us! One of us!
Well, Sorcery looks fun but it will die coz there is no distribution and and its almost impossible to find in local game stores.
casually pulls the philo stone lol

It was meant to be!
It's a pity that this indie TCG is not available in my country 😭

And here I thought it was just ANOTHER dead tcg....
It will more than likely be dead in 10 years along with every other tcg but there's still time to grow
Dude. You seriously need a hobby
@@onewhoplaysgames7489 it won't be Sorcery
How did you pull a stone. Wow!!! Hahahahaha
With Rudy involved (pumping the game, getting promos, etc), Sorcery will likely be the next Metazoo 😉
Bro don't compare that Chris Chan level artwork dumpster fire to Sorcery lol
The better comparison would be to FaB, not Metazoo, I think you would agree with that.

Pulls a 500$ card on a sorcery clinic. Lol
