I believe you are wrong. People will want them for cheaper variations in foil of the zombie/werewolf/vampire staples. I am hyped for innistrad because I like werewolves the tribe.
My first ever mtg product was a shadows over innistrad rakdos madness started deck. Then played on my first ever draft (got destroyed, was a beginner player) abd loved it. Came back a bit later after Crimson vow and midnight hunt so couldn't experience it. Very exited to relive that experience. Also I play paper pauper and my favorite deck is rakdos madness 😅
I have been playing since Urza's Saga, and I am quitting because this sci-fi garbage is just too much. I don't want a ghost vacuum and a don't want a spider man, I want dragons and angels and demons and goblins and bears and stuff. All the different borders are terrible too, the game looks like dumpster fire full of clowns (oh ya theres clowns now too)
Innistrad was the first set I drafted at my LGS, and it was everything I hoped it would be. The flavor and the art was so on point. I bought an OG sealed box of Innistrad a year or so back for that reason. Out of all the remastered sets, this is the one I'd be most excited by, but I do worry that it won't have a solid land cycle to prop it up like Ravnica Remastered has. They could do the "slow" lands with new art and serialized, I suppose, but that's about it. They'll have to lean heavily on legendary creatures and possibly more serialized cards. Edgar isn't even technically from an Innistrad set so I'm curious what else they might tap to try to up the hype. All that said, I think Wizards has been surprising people and shocking the market with the limited nature of the collector boosters in particular. I'm hesitant to preorder without knowing much about what the collector boxes will have, but if anything will be short printed and expensive, I'd guess those would be.
This will be fine. I played during all the Innistrad sets, so I don't really have a need for most of these cards, but I'd like to give the draft a go or two. Also, I have no enthusiasm for UB and I'm gonna save a ton of money next year.
Overprinting comes in the form of so many new products coming out. Also, Overprinting can only happen if not enough people buy it; then it can be said it was Overprinted. How can he advise the smaller fish downstream to buy/invest when he himself knows wallet fatigue will hit hard. At this point, it's Jr. Investors selling to each other. The biggest fush upstream already made their cut.
Innistrad Remasterd makes me nervous. The past few masters sets have burned me pretty bad at my store. I know we are in a bit of a boom for CCG's but there is a big chance for this set to flop.
This is less of a universes comparison and more just people not being stoked about reprints. I’ll prob buy a collector box to gamble and resell singles but not gonna buy a single play booster
Yep totally agree. Tsr and ravnica remastered would be sweet if they were 120$ a box and 20$ to draft. At their price point just not worth. Grabbed ravnica remastered at 100. I'll be waiting again for this one
Jan. 2023 we had Dominaria Remaster, Jan. 2024 we had Ravnica Remastered. Jan. 2025 we will have Innistrad Remastered. Do we really need to go back to Innistrad again. These are all OVERPRICED reprint sets. I will wait and may buy some singles. I waited 6 months and was able to get some draft boxes of Dominaria Remastered for $89.99 from Amazon. There is still wallet fatigue. I skipped buying seal boxes of Ravnica Remastered, Karlov Manor, Thunder Junction, and MH3. I waited and bought a bunch of singles and saved a ton of money. While reprints brings the price down on certain good cards to make them affordable, why should we pay a premium price for a sealed box where the value is clearly not there most of the time. Thank you for the video.
Innistrad Remastered will fail. After the whole Double Feature terrible idea, along with Crimson Vow/Midnight Hunt were terrible. These sets don't have enough value in them for a remastered price they will charge. I'm sure they will serial cards and blah blah blah, its just not worth it in my opinion.
I'm hoping that WOTC sees Innistrad Remastered as an opportunity to save the plane which Crimson Vow/Midnight Hunt almost crashed.
WOTC just cares about the incoming $.
The original Innistrad was an amazing time.
I care about the universes within, I care Louie
Honestly I couldn't care less about Marvel. But I do care about Innistrad and Final Fantasy for sure.
I think the Final Fantasy release puts a damper on this set. People are saving their money for that.
I'm looking forward to getting 4 snapcaster for cheap. That's about it though. Maybe a second meathook massacre.
Im happy to be able to pick up a Edgar Markov for an affordable price.
Serialized looks promising in this set! Griselbrand, geist of saint traft , avacyn angel of hope with special art serial ? That would be dope

In general do yall think a collector booster box from this set grow in prices over time?
Universes Within. ouch.

Yup
You won't run into as much as you think. Especially if you ply with a friends group. Like sponge Bob makes me say the same thing
I just hope I can play it on arena
They’re putting zero effort into anything except for UB. Remastered = reprints.

I've been playing Magic for 31 years, and I've never been so unexcited about an upcoming release :X
Hopefully the spoilers make me change my mind.

For drafting
@@werideatdusk Sorry, I won't pay those high prices for drafting unless I can get a good deal on a box or if there are prerelease kits.
looking good Louie - fresh cut? losing weight?

Nuh uh

re-missed the mark... again.. remasters are the stupidest money grab. stop it. reprints suck
