Your tweet/post was so heart-felt but Bro, this video just set me off. Actually full on crying. He had a similar impact on my life. And I think of all the friends I've made, people I've met and places I've visited because of his creations and my love of anime. He was a true legend ❤
a day later after the news broke, i still can't believe mr. toriyama died. i didn't watch super but dbz, db, the movies, and even GT were part of my childhood, were a part of me and everyone who loved the series. here in argentina is basically part of our culture, part of us. hope he can rest easy, knowing the impact he made in the world. i thank you for this video and i share the sentiment, take care! ❤ 🕊
Ey man I feel you. Given everything you've experienced and the bonds you formed along the way it's so beautiful and inspiring how this mans work has united and formed long lasting relationships and also the lessons we learnt the older we get through the show. R.I.P to the legend until we meet again.
The friends we made along the way through Dragon Ball alone is a testament to how much Toriyama's work impacted the world. It's a shame to see the GOAT pass at a mere 68, 10+ hours later it still doesn't feel real to think about the announcement.
Yeah that's it exactly. I really appreciate the video btw. I don't know too many folks affected by this IRL, so its nice to see others sharing this loss, if that makes sense.@@tyrant_uk
Appreciate you putting this out. This hit me hard too. It still is. His work really shaped and inspired me to be better when I didn’t have much else. It felt like family with how much DB impacted my life to this day. It’s definitely a loss. Thank you Toriyama-sama. Your work helped so many people around the world for the better. RIP
Dragonball is what led to me becoming an athlete in an extremely early age and later on made me become a bodybuilder. I always admired the way goku looked and his character but most of all I respected his workmentality. Vegeta summed it up best by the end of z "he fights to better himself and not to put down others". Thank you Toriyama for shaping so many lives around the globe
It's really hard, i totally understand why you're sad, it's fresh and it's like losing you're best friend or losing a parents. Time do the thing never give up. Big love bro ❤
Dunno what to say, meet so many people in life through Dragonball like yourself. One of those rare individuals, RIP Akira Toriyama. Thank you for the gift of Dragonball.
I totally unerstand how something that someone creates becomes part of your life. The crazy thing about this is that a sports podcast show that I am listening too right now is just taking about this which shows how big his passing is to some. You already know what I have been through concerning my wife. I can say our 'DBZ" would be the world of wrestling. Without that and my faith, I dont know how we as a family got though that. Seeing how he meant to you in your life, I totally understand. So sorry to hear of is passing and what caused it. Dude was definitely a legend.
I still cannot process this. I’ve not been crushed by a celebrity death to this degree ever. Akira toriyama has been there since my childhood and dragon ball has given me close friends. This hurts…. Rest in peace the legend Akira Toriyama sensei.
There was nothing like that absolute rush to get home from school to watch Dragonball. I remember how we became mate "did anyone else see that show with the monkey shooting lazers from his mouth?" Hooked. Akira Toriyama changed my life and introduced me to my best friends.
I had this with totalbiscuit aswell but i know did known him from starcraft but i feels like i did lost part if my chilld hood i watchs dbz ssin. Was 7

Still can't believe it honestly
RIP to the legend. You will be sorely missed.
He has inspired millions and will do for many years
Same. Not a single celebrity's death has ever affected me like this. What a loss to us all - even though he's already given us so, so much.
It's devastating, he's given us so much and will continue to do so. What a legacy he has left behind.
