Just putting this out there but the Herrismon line might be a good addition to the electric rookies/lines you can use in the future. Could definitely be useful for Sophocles as Herrismon can reference the Totem Togedemaru

Yusuke Hyoukawa (兵川裕介 Hyoukawa Yūsuke), the leader of the chosen children, bearer of the Responsibility Crest. contrasting past leaders, is very thoughtful and responsible. to make this contrast even more evident, he uses sunglasses instead of goggles. Partner line: Yukimi Botamon> Hiyarimon> Blucomon> Paledramon> Crys Paledramon> Hexeblaumon. Partner line: Kashiwamon (fanmade)> Ukiumon (fanmade)> Koemon> Hanumon> Gokuwmon> Wukongmon (fanmade) if you wanna know about the rest, like this comment and/or reply to it.
I'm getting a good feeling that until every Gym Leader (Kahuna for S&M's case) has been covered, the next thing to tackle would either be... • Rivals (In-Game Rivals or Ash's Rivals), • Ash's Companions, • Each Region's Elite Four + Champion, or • Evil Team Leaders So many to choose from and yet to come, and I'm *HYPED* for more of this collab!
While doing the Frontier tie-in is an interesting gimmick, I would be interested in seeing these trainers visited again without the limitation of feel like Spirit Evolutions need to be included. Like if they work best they work best, that's fine, but without the Gen 4/Season 4/20 Anni. mindset, would you have given some of these partners out? It might be fun to see a, for lack of a better term, "truer" line for these guys. But if not, that's fine too.
Watching these make me want to see a crossover between pokemon and digimon. Even if it was simply people from each world being sent to the other just to see how they would react to either Digimon or Pokemon.

While Kendogarurumon works well for Maylene due to the whole line working fitting amazingly a good substitute to me would be Gokuwmon since her rematch team includes an Infernape. Although that'd probably work best for Flint if/when elite four get their own partners since I swear I remember Infernape being mentioned as the pokemon he started with.
These choices were good also another Marisal Arts Digimon that could fit Maylene’s rookie would be Kotemon and the Ice type gym leader is called Candice and Craneomon could also work for Byron’s mega as it would fits the steel type and since he is Roark’s father.
I'm unaware of the Puns being used around her, but one way to remember her Name is to think of Shaved Ice topped with Flavouring. Candy Ice -> Candice. Or you could just call her 'Kiai Girl'!
hi karn, I am just curious with it being frontiers anniversary year have you done a video for unified spirit evolutions for the the other digidestined as mangnagarurumon and emperorgreymon take on from the fire and light spirits. Would be cool to see what would happen if zoe or jp were to unify evolve.
Really enjoy these Pokémon crossover videos. Also for when you get to the Elite 4, I gotta say I’m a huge advocate for Cynthia having Alphamon lol don’t think it even fits any of her Pokémon but think the duo would be awesome lol
I think Fantinas partner should refrence both sides of the spirit of darkness, plus I feel like if DoneDevimon was a Pokemon, it would be more of a dark type than a ghost, so maybe her mega could be AncientSphinxmon?
Personally I always felt that the Beast Spirits were Champion/Adult because Slide Evolution feels more appropriate when done to a Digimon of equivalent level, because if they were going from Champion to Ultimate it would be normal Digivolution
Even though I understand why you didn't I would have liked for you to make custom spirit digivolution lines for this batch of gym leaders. Frontier is my favorite season because of the spirit digimon and spirit digivolution and it is just funny in an ironic sense to have Crasher Wake become a feminine digimon. Talk about a complete 180. Regarding the ones here I am going with Gardenia, and Byron. They are the ones with the biggest megas that no one uses, and you can give them a bit of a pokemon flair through some aesthetic changes such as having Eldoradomon having a fancy forest like garden/futuristic building instead of an ancient castle on its back.
I was sure Roark was going to get AncientVolcamon because its type is Mineral and Ore, and its head kinda looks like a mining helmet, but I understand the idea of wanting to give him a dinosaur Digimon.
My only suggestion with Fantina is that you didn't really capture her Elegance and the fact that she's also a top performer. I feel like Candlemon would work way better because of the several eyes and "Will-o-wisp" aspect into Duskmon(or Witchmon if you weren't doing frontier stuff) then to Myotismon/Vamdemon, or LadyDevimon could have been a great Ultimate for a Bannet Parallel. Her Mega could come full circle with Kuzuhamon and keep her spooky humanoid motif and still hold the beauty of her contest style gym leader aesthetic. I just feel saddened that the performance part of Fantina wasn't included in this. But great job guys! All of the rest of them are really interesting takes and I've done something similar with Beetlemon/Blitzmon and Raijiludomon before.
with the use of jupitermon i think fantina mega also could have been plutomon since you know ruler of hell GHOSTS lol also shame snowagumon snowgoblimon and blucomon are the only really useable snow themed rookies
I actually think Kokuwamon would have fit in well with Volkner as a reference not to his team but the layout of his gym. I can see Kokuwamon fitting in well amongst all the gears that the player rides on to get to Volkner and it allows a smoother transition to Blitzmon than Elecmon does

I like Elecmon for Volkner. I think I just like Elecmon in general because he feels like he could have been a classic Adventure partner. I would have made his champion Raidramon as a reference to his Luxray and then AncientGarurumon for his ultimate, finally becoming Susanoomon as a sort of Thunder God reference to his very oni-based Electivire.
Man, I'm italian. Here the 7th gym leader is called Bianca and during all the video I was SO sure it was her english name, so I was really confused about the pun. I remembered, don't worry ahahah (Btw, I wasn't totally crazy, Bianca is the english name of the BW rival, right? She's called Belle here.)
I think Jellymon would be a good partner for Volkner to reference his random Octillery...man Sinnoh is my favorite but it really tests me with how they didn't think to put in enough pokemon of each type to actually fill out the gym leaders' teams. And Jellymon - Beetlemon makes as much sense as Elecmon lol.

I know this is a year old, but I feel like WereGarurumon would be a good Evo for Lobomon/Maleene. Tbf I haven't played Gen 4 in a while, so maybe it's not perfect. That does leave the Mega, but I don't mind WereGarurumon to Gankoomon
Hey Karn do you even know wha an extremly good pick Grottemon is for roark is because it is extrem heavly based on a knocker a spirit that lives in mines and helps miners (and Grotte is also the German Word for a small humid cave)
