@@nvl2691 Bro the N20 is built on a N55 engine but with 2 less cylinders;) I woudnt say anything about a 6cyl sounding the same if I didnt know it. I have owned a 523 and 525i too with N52.
@@MA-mp4ov The fact is, that an inline 4 cylinder sounds an inline 4 cylinder, and an inline 6 sounds like an inline 6. Most N20 cars have fake sound played through the speakers that remind you of the soundtrack of an N52 / N53. The engine note itself is physically (as in, sound physics) different.

Bro from the outside there is no speaker. If you listen to the N20 from the outside you can here mostly the turbo but if you listen carefuly you will hear the melody of the 6cyl N55. I have owned 6cyl 520,523,525,530 and I own V8s now (550i E60 and 550i F10) so trust me I know what im talking about

No, n20 sounds like diesel and n52 sounds like m54 m52 n54 n55, just inline 6.
