He may not be the best pitcher or best hitter going by the numbers. BUT as a two-way player, there is just no one else alive that's comparable. If you combine his batting and pitching number, he is the best. And more subjectively, he is the most exciting player in MLB.
100% Absolutely! He is definitely one of the most, if not THE most, exciting player in the league. I am excited to see what he does on a daily basis! But yeah, doing it both on the pitching mound as well as the batters box AND on the bases!?! The guy is the BEST
I saw a couple of videos (not from this channel), asking the question "Can Ohtani be as good as deGrom if he gave up his two-way play?" Yes, I agree deGrom is the best pitcher right now. But that's asking someone to give up half your skills to be like someone else. LOL *The question should be the other way around.* Can deGrom be as good as Shohei if he play two-way. Similiarly, Vlad and Tatis Jr. are the best hitters right now (including Shohei). It's difficult to compare them with Shohei because they don't have pitching stats.
That is a very tough question and yeah I think you’ve hit it on the nose. Hard to compare Tatis, and Vlad with DeGrom and then all three against Shohei. He is by far the most talented player. With yesterday’s 2 HR game, it’s very hard to argue. He’s playing like the best kid in little league, pitching, hitting, hitting for power, and stealing bases! But it’s not little league, it’s the MLB! Just crazy to think he’s THIS good at BOTH sides of the ball!
In Japan, it is said that at the end of 2022, Otani's contract money forecast after 2023 is 300 million dollars for a 10-year contract. If the Angels can't afford that amount, other teams have a chance to win Otani.
@@yasaijuice8717 he absolutely can command that contract! And rightfully so! Only a few teams can afford that, LA, NY, CHI, BOS. Pretty much that’s it. So I think we have our initial teams in the running!
@@MatthewBergdorf However, I don't think Otani can work with money. Because I played in MLB as soon as possible and tried myself, so if I play in Japan for a couple of years and go to MLB, I will get a contract amount equal to or more than other Japanese players who have traveled to the United States. But I didn't do that. The Angels fans who knew it became more fond of Otani. Otani does not like to be with Japanese players. This is because I think that going to Otani will cause trouble for the Japanese player. He realizes that Otani is a big person.
I never thought in my lifetime i would ever see a 2 way player. And he's an elite hitter and pitcher like Ruth was.
I love mr. handsome Ohtani
He is a gorgeous man. I can say that and feel comfortable in my own skin! Guy is a model, a future MVP and an exciting entertainer/athlete in the MLB!

Holy crap this vid has 1,000+ views already!!!!! Also Nice vid
Trying to make them go crazy!
Any video where you slap Shohei's name on the title, it gets thousands of views.
Love Ohtani. Mvp
YEAH! He absolutely is! And that is with a league with Vlad Jr who is just absolutely crushing the ball. yet, Ohtani is my pick!
Shotani!🔥
Nice channel you going here. +1 new sub!!
I appreciate it! Very much!!!

The giants dodgers game is good tonight!
It’s been an awesome game!!! I’d like to see the dodgers score about 23 more runs, but yeah it’s been a close game!
@@MatthewBergdorf as long as the pen can hold their ground then it should be good
@@charlieradant should be! But the giants have a good track record of coming back late in games. I’d rather score 54829 more runs
@@MatthewBergdorf that is a good amount of runs to score!
Maybe it will happen

So Brian Wilson was doing youtube after retirement.
Did he Really?!?! Im growning the beard out! His was straight and mine is all curly. HA
When did Stripling leave the Dodgers?!
He was traded last year mid-season
Oh that's probably why I never knew cuz it was mid season. That sucks Stripling is good.
@@TitaniumCranium77 he was good at times but real bad at times! Ask Toronto fans! They will probably feel the same.
Of course he is. Except if he don’t get injury.
Let’s hope his training and recovery is on point! Can’t help things like being hit by a ball or something. But I have positive thoughts!
At the end of 2022, I want Otani to sign the Dodgers for $ 20 million for two years. I want him to play with Albert Pujols.
I want to see him and Trout in Dodger blue! But I would absolutely take Ohtani!

Did you play in the MLB!? I wasn’t good enough. Tried out at a division 1 college and didn’t make it ha
