Hank 3 is the hardest working musician I've ever seen. Not only does he stay after every show for every fan until they are gone he mixes, masters, writes and records all his own music. He also plays four hours a night after sound checking for at least two hours. I also can't think of anyone playing three to four different genres of music at one show. He outworked both his dad and grandad.
I'd say Zakk Wylde... been busting his ass for a long time. No disrespect to Hank III or your opinion. Just think Zakk's been doing it longer at breakneck pace.
You speak the truth friend....I saw him in a shithole in Bakersfield about 10 yrs ago.....the only thing worse than the venue was the crowd.....we were all fucked....but we loved that crazy hillbilly legend...... I'd take a shank for Hank.... almost did🤘
I know nothing about country music,a slice of the man in black n this man,the man,hank111,loving it, especially the fastr paced songs!dam right matey, much love from planet Perth, west Oz 👍
If you dont like the hellbilly sound than dont fucking listen to it, i live in Nashville and he speaks the truth, his grandfather was a hell raiser for his generation, kicked out of the grand ol opry. His dad Hank Jr. was a hell raiser for his generation, and Hank III is the hell raiser for our generation. Ive seen him a hundred times and his shows are always packed so if you dont like him I promise you he dont give a FUCK
Well, yeah, he's hav'n a good time. And even with the different adjectives than I use, I love im. He's got guts and had a hard road, but I guess most of us do. All that said, I don't care what anybody says about Hank Sr, I watched a lot of video from stories and people that knew his end, and I think he found JESUS and his body just fell apart. And I believe the same about my dad who died from drinkin' at 45. If Hank lll can stop & not just slow down, he might save his body for some extra time. I'm just hopin'. And enjoyin' most of the songs and all of the instrumental!!! I am greatful for the use of the talent of all 3 Hank Williams.
I'm a rocker but this guy just flat out gives me the chills... especially that "Country Heroes" song... Some legacies just too strong to stay within their genre lines even when they go deep into it...

I saw the whole show, Assjack and all, in Knoxville TN in 2010. When I heard Bucket's Got a Hole In It, I lost my mind. My mama told me when I married a deadbeat for the second time "Girl, looks like you got yourself another bucket with a hole in it". I was the oldest person in the building probably at 50. I did not see Assjack coming, and got caught in a mosh pit. I don't regret a minute. Got a start on my bucket list. Appalachian Heiress

We need to support Hank III by calling the radio stations and requesing him to be played. Demanding he be played!!! Buy his CD's and and doing mega hits on RUclips. He is a great artist and needs to be heard.
Revisiting this video, still pumps me up. Saw Hank III about 2012 in Austin during SXSW. A fight broke out about half-way through and I lost my glasses but wouldn't trade it for any of the weak asses these days.

It's a killer set, an essence of Hank 3 in 80 minutes, touring on his best album (Straight to Hell), with the best line up (Joe Buck is an awesome misfit). It's a pity he's not in music anymore. Imho he had 2 classic albums (STH and Lovesick), 3 good albums (Risin Outlaw, Damn Right and Rebel Within), the rest is so so, but live he always delivered.
