The 2 guys building this game are very appreciative of the attention his LP series brought to the game and been good about customer service with info on the game, fixing issues and such but no money has ever been exchanged. Its like every other indie game he's played. He liked it, it got good views so he kept playing. This episode is a teaser trailer for the people commenting on every video he puts out to play more of this game.

Hey, Benny I believe(don't know for sure, just a guess) you can cut palm trees down with an axe, like the one on the sunken ship. And you can cut down drift wood and trees with a crude axe. :)

Its pretty much a graphics / physics update with a little extra features, theres nothing really special about this update.
that is largely true. For indie developers, the major thing that people wanted from unity pro (and now get for free in unity 5) is reflection. However, you may end up noticing other subtle graphical changes that really bring realism and immersion to the game.

I am so glad that you will be playing this game again. I have played this new version for a bit. I love what they have done with it so far, but some problems. There are fish and sharks, but in deeper water now. Those waves will throw you out of your boat. I have coconuts up in the air with no tree and of course the fire like yours. But you know sometimes those "bugs" are fun!! Some in the past were anyways. Thanks Generikb.
WOW! I was starting to feel bad for not touching my copy of the game in awhile and almost even thinking I might've wasted my money on something I only spent a few hours on, but now THIS looks fantastic! That is definitely some kickass upgrading!

Yeah! If Genny wants another cool game with sick Graphics, Emperion: Galactic Survival was a cool open world early-access game I got on steam, and while the graphics aren't THAT awesome, its got like a whole universe of planets and stuff. as a programmer, I find the graphics stunning for how big the world is.

They should add caves underwater and in the rock formations, and put metal in the rocks so you can built stuff with metal

Hey Genny, I saw someone else playing this and they said that the devs have disabled things, like the animals (i.e. sharks, fish, etc), thats all I really know of what was disabled, not sure about anything else. Besides that, it looks so beautiful.

when you do a lets play build a base next to the rocks and build up so you can walk around on top of the rock in question!

I don't know how, but I get the coconut standing on the ground, watching up, and show me "coconut" press "E" and I got it. I don't have to climb the tree. But I can't repeat different tree. That tree was so high, and I tried with smaller, but not worked. Only one tree each island, which is harvestable.
Foundation: U can build in the water, but if there is a rock, or boat, or something, not build. So hard to find the way, to me is so curvy, but it is working. I think it is a glitch. :D
Fire: I didn't find lighter at all.
So only potato /which is growing continuously, and coconut.
Water only coconut, without fire.

After you said about how some people have felt seasick, I decided to try it because I get car sick...long story short it was right after I had dinner and I'm full and well...now I feel weird, I don't know if this is seasick because I have never had it before, but it makes me feel weird :P xD

I hope the new subnautica water surface ends up something similar to this - it looks fantastic, kinda hard to believe it's on the unity engine still!

I think they really need to add 'events' to this game-
Such as hurricanes/tornadoes, HUGE waves, earthquakes(?), ETC.
Just to add more danger because although it is easy to die if you aren't careful, not many games have added environmental things such as these.(That I know of, atleast.)
These events can also maybe destroy your structures? Just to add more gameplay because there is a ton of stuff in the game and there will likely be more, once you're done building structures, what else do you do?
Also events as something like human encounters or hallucinations.
Just some ideas, not sure anyone will actually see this.
I wonder why they made the ocean suddenly drop off instead of slowly declining...
