Thank you for your information. I couldn’t agree more as my husband is “dealing with” prostate cancer and following the metabolic protocol. The only thought I’d add is, “Good luck finding an oncologist who believes in any of this mumbo jumbo!” I just walked out of our oncologist’s office a couple of weeks ago because of his mocking, knowing it all attitude. I will never return. Dr Seyfried is a hero and I pray that the medical world will wake up one day…but I doubt it.

I’m very sorry to hear that. This reaction of your physician is the reflection of the pharma industry. Oncologist should know that cutting out sugars and decreasing glutamine can be immensely helpful. I have a had patient that had done metabolic therapy in combination with high dose intravenous vitamin C weekly. He only required very low doses of chemo and for a short time only.

Prostate cancer is very pernicious, the urologists are butchers, they use a meat cleaver when they should be using a scalpel. Prevention is key gotta drive insulin to baseline by going 0 carb, the continual insulin spikes over a long period of time are extremely dangerous and our urologists need to stress this but the will not because they benefit from our misery.

A common recommendation by the manufacturers for EGCG is 1800 mg of green tea extract daily which has 45% EGCG.
