As a 90s kid lemme tell y’all something…I should be listening to today’s music but I can’t cuz they don’t make good music as this!!! The rhythm is good, the lyrics are good unlike today when they degrade women, and they talk about drugs, sex and violence. The dancing is good but nowadays they can’t dance for squat. Why can’t we have good music like this anymore

Don't be ashamed. I've danced the Charleston to hardstyle in clubs in the late 2000s, and got lots of compliments. And I'm a fat hairy slob. I chalk it up to the Charleston syncing up with hardstyle's typical 6:8 time signature pretty well. Modern dance is very similar to marching band music of the early 20th century, at least rhythmically.
