This song really touches me. I've been so broken, my old science teacher (a new grandma), a good friend (whose also a grandma, with her youngest child 7, grandchild 3), and my sweet, kind cousin all died from cancer in the past 5 months. I needed to know I didn't have to put makeup or a dress on, and calmly tell God whats happened. I can come tear stained, in ripped jeans and a T-shirt, bawl my eyes out, and He won't think any less of me. I needed to know that God will listen, and even if He doesn't respond, He knows and has the best answer in store. I needed to know that even though I, as a sinner, can always come to Him. I can lift all of this weight of my back and hand it over to God's waiting arms. I didn't have to lower my head and be a robotic human being, doing tasks thoughtlessly. and can lift up my tear stained face, with mascara dripping from my swollen eyes, sweaty and not looking my best, and God- He has it, He's got it, there's no doubt.

My Bible teacher played this song every time before class started last year. This is a really amazing song. My Bible Teacher is not with us anymore. After he was gone. My friends are singing this song at our 8th grade promotion ceremony this year. I can't wait for the day the Lord comes. It is also the last year I will ever get to see my friends that I have been with for 7 years. One is moving to England. One is going to a totally different place. And the others have no way of keeping in contact with. But with this song I know that I will always be with them, and they will always be with me.

I sing this in quoir at my catholic school.Its a Private school 10 thousand a student.Its a Roman cathilic school, and this is one of my favorite songs we sing.I am in Our Lady Of Las Vegas School.
I sang this song to my son while he was in the NICU. both he and I went through a hard labor and delivery that nearly killed us both... We were both hooked up to oxygen and IVs and fighting for our lives. so, i did the only thing that came to mind. I wheeled myself to his side and I sang this song to my boy every single day several times a day and prayed for him and myself... a month later we were both released from the hospital healthy, happy and praising the One who healed us both.
My father and I truly believe in him and what he does is truly amazing. My dad made me believe in him and what he does for us is everything you could ask for. He will always be there no matter what, he will give.🙌🙏

My father and mother often tell me how proud they are of me, and how much they love me, and how glad they am that I am their son, but I feel like if they only knew what I have done, they would see me as the monster, and vile wretch that I believe I am.
