@@VinceLeeMiller If my dad could have attended a men's ministry, it may have made a huge difference in our family especially through my teen years. In some ways I probably do it for what could have been :)
What a great video. I can honestly say that first group is the key. Having mature men as your foundation makes a huge difference. I think once our men felt valued and secure they dug in and were ready to the next step. Thanks Vince for answering my text and walking alongside me.
Dad, you should tell other men what you experienced by applying the simple model. You are one of the man I’m thinking about as I am sharing this advice.
So I define a "gathering" as something you do over a few hours at home. A "getaway" is something you do away from home over multiple days. Two slightly different purposes. One will gather men and share testimonies about Jesus. The other will build stronger relationships around Jesus.
