Getting ready to buy an Rs 3 combo I can't believe that no 1's highlighting the active track for real estate or wedding videography. It's a game change your feature that no one seems to be talking about
Ya the ActiveTrack is sweet and deserves a separate dedicated video. I don't shoot real estate or weddings, so I'm not going to talk about for those use cases.
I honestly dont think its worth the purchase until these gimbals can fully automatic balance. These features are nice. But balancing is the most annoying part.
It's a factor I totally agree with, Balancing the camera manually is a task especially when it comes to lenses. I've waited for this feature, Maybe my hope of it happening just won't
@@edwardanabazas sure I'll try to condense the explanation but you still watch some videos on it when you get a chance. So when you mounting the camera to the gimbal with it turned off, you have to adjust the balance to pretty much get everything centered. There are knobs and sliders used to help balance the gimbal on all it's different axis (pan, tilt, and roll) once everything meets the right balance and they're all working together, then do your turn on the gimbal. If done correctly your gimbal won't have any problems with the motors.
I recently upgraded my gear from Sony a1, but it worked just fine with my RS4 Pro. I did find some helpful info on DJI's website. They have a compatibility list and setup guides that might be just what you need. You can probably check there, or just contact their support
3:40 This is the PERFECT example as to why Open Gate is so useful and liberating in terms of composing shots.
And no rebalancing...
Great video
I'm 30 seconds in and I'm already saying "whoa that's so cool!"
that thing is sick
Great video, do you have a video explaining the modes?
I have the RSC2 and use it with the Sony A1 and never had an issue. I honestly don’t see the point of many these other versions
I'm still rocking the SC version. I was thinking of downsizing to an Oslo Pocket 3, but the RS4 is calling my name..lol
yeah, i hope pocket 4 will be so good, that maybe no more need for dslr:) also would be good if they would open motion control SDK for pocket
Can you program paths so you can set up macro pans?
Hi just a quick one can I connect to the RS4 the new DJI focus pro whit Lidar?
Can I use the Raven eye on the DJI RS4 Standard?
Yes!
@ Thanks 🙏🏻
Is there something similar that I can use to automatically follow an airplane in the sky ?
Thanks for your content, so awesome as usual 🙌. I’m wondering if the LiDAR work also on the Rs4 (not the pro version) ?
You might want to get a Steadimate to go with it.

Do you think the regular RS4 can hold a cabin R6 Mark II with a 24-70mm 2.8?
Of course
Cool

Being able to balance the gimbal is what separates the men from the boys
Can you balance the a7siii with smallrig cage and wireless receiver on top on the rs4?
what cameras does it work with... always an issue with gimbals
Wow
Does RS4 have the ability to do active tracking?
With the Raveneye yes.
Very good review Aldryn. Can the raven eye be used with the RS4.

telefonunuza DJI RONIN App i yüklemeniz lazım ordan kolayca kontrol edebilirsiniz. bunun için raven eye transmitter a ihtiyacınız var demiş ama yok .
Hi, New subs here! One question. I have a a7siii with 24-70mm g master lens v2 can i zoom in and out without rebalancing the rs4?
@@kendricklamar1267 yes I use that setup for my corporate gigs. Works well. Just balance the gimbal while the lens is in the middle at a 50.
@FlytPath okay bro thank you , one last question so after balancing in 50mm can i zoom in upto 70 and zoom out up to 24 with no issue right?
@@kendricklamar1267 yup motors are powerful enough
@@FlytPath thank you so much bro for the info!
@@FlytPaththis is so smart! Thank you!
