Although its not the kind of update I was hoping for, I'm happy your getting somewhere with her. Also glad that, obviously, the 510 didn't sell. Sorry but a S30 and 510 go together like a cute married couple.
2J-Z I completely understand. Hell my Z31 has been on jack stands for 4 YEARS! Perfection takes time and I'm in no way judging you. I just know, the longer a car sits without work, a persons excitement about the build goes down the drain. Again I'm glad to see progress and I just hope she gets down the track sometime before the unicorn goes up in flames again ;)
I recently bought the exact same dam storage bins too! the fall off easily from the mounting rack. I had to drill through each one and pop rivet each bin to the backing plate... what a pain that was! Great to see a update bud! check out my zed build if you haven't already, would love some feedback!
Hey man, i was looking at those door trims - they are the original style pattern but the color is not one of the original offered colors (Black, Tan, Red, Blue, White & the rare Beige). Were these painted at some stage? Tiger.
Hey Anthony. I will be using the Vintage Air Gen-II Compac HCD and their compressor. Initially I wanted to use the factory Toyota 2JZ A/C compressor as the bracket already exists and to me - it seemed like the easier route. However, after conversing with a fellow Datsun owner, I will be using the Vintage Air compressor because I will not be running hydraulic power steering in the car. Basically the serpentine belt setup using the factory compressor doesn't work well so the Vintage Air compressor will be placed where the factory power steering pump goes.
When I get off this flight, I'm watching this. Trust me! 🙌🏾
Appreciate it, thanks for watching
Vintage Air 👍👍
So happy you're back.
+Cody Boyd Me too!

1dickycat unfortunately it’s just part of the process, and I intend to document everything along the way.

Thanks for the new vid! I so want a Z but it's tough to find one that is a decent price and not rotted out.
+K Jones Yes they’re a rare commodity. I’m lucky enough to have one!

Correct - these were sprayed McDonalds yellow inadvertently.
I like working with gloves too, but it's absolutely terrible when it's hot. Get sweat dripping down your arms from inside the gloves haha
tell me more about the AC/Heat unit you are planning on using!!!

Interesting, I'm interested to see how it all works out!
