One thing I haven't seen in any of your videos that I did not know until recently and that I use very often now in my w209 and that it is very useful at least for very hot climates like we have in Spain is that after you have stopped your car and removed your keys is that you can dry the A/C system by holding down the rest buttom for a couple of seconds. Doing this the heater will work for a while letting the A/C system dry and preventing the system from smelling due to the dumpness in the evaporator

One thing I've observed is that a lot of people don't realize that the volume controls (up/down/mute) are all context sensitive. If you're listening to an audio source then they control that. But if you're interrupted by a traffic announcement, pressing mute makes it go away and takes you back to your audio source. Also, during a traffic announcement you can adjust the volume of it so that all future traffic announcements are at that level. Likewise, with Navigation, you can mute to stop all future audio instructions (but will have to rely on watching the map) or you can adjust the volume relative to your audio source.

Keyless Go is a pretty redundant feature if you have to still use the key to override it. Good tip for those like my brother who has a '17 C class. My E class is old school, just the key.

Useful note about the double click and four flashes. However, MB owners should be aware that two slow clicks will not disable the key even though the indicators will flash four times. It requires two clicks in quick succession. For complete safety, either, double check the door each time or use a metal container to store the key (and don't trust Faraday bags as the fabric can abrade allowing the key signal through!).
So I was wondering if you could help me. I don’t know if there is a solution for this but you seem to be extremely knowledgeable with Mercedes. I have a 2015 ML 350, the issue I’m having is the safety alert sounds are very low. Also another shortcut for the volume button, if you press and hold the volume button it will turn traffic announcements on/off. Its easier going through all the menus, i found this because mine sometimes randomly turned itself back on - without me setting this. It saves faffing in the menus.

hello, a question: most Mercedes models with built-in telephone, are equipped with UHI connector and a cradle for a specific model and brand (eg Siemens S75). Is there an inexpensive solution to replace the cradle with a reducer where the UHI connector can be connected directly to an iPhone 7? or is there a diagram to make this yourself, and if necessary to connect via a bluetooth module? You need attitional hardware inside the doors, sensors and transponders. then get it coding. Easier/cheaper just to replace your car with a model which has this optioned.
Hi I have just recieved my C class 2019 and can't get Mirror link to work with my android phone. I have the special USB port with the picture of the phone on it, the phone boots into mirror link mode but it errors out on the Mercedes screen. Any ideas?

There must be a way we bought this car used and the Eco system never came on we have owned it for a year now I just replaced the battery and now the Eco system is on maybe threw a scan tool or the dealership can turn it off ?
Keyless entry is not disabled! You had merely disabled the key! That is what you do when you want to store your spare key without it draining the key battery. Try this double click and 4 flashes one one key and have your spare key on hand but not disabled, you will still be able to open the door keyless! So this is wrong. If someone had cloned the wireless signal, then this double click will still not work.

Not sure if it is related to this model but relevant to R230, if you are travelling with the any windows down in the car, and say a car/truck appears with a smoking exhaust in front of you, just pushing the cabin air recycle button will detect the windows that are open and auto close them and start the R230's recirculation.
The voice activation is useless on our 2017 GLS350D, it always rings the WRONG person and demands a "line number"...which of course I have no idea which person is which because of course it then changes the line number and the contact. The other thing that sucks is trying to find locations in Australia where we live...landmarks that aren't your typical tourist landmarks don't come up in the search function....like for example, The Queensland Museuem in Brisbane, Queensland.

I think it's in the part he mention about volume control. The TA= Traffic Alert, I might be wrong.

They fit the voice button to all models, regardless if the vehicle has it fitted. your V-Class may not have been optioned with it when new?

Car settings, dynamic select settings and there you can choose the HP and torque view (i believe it is called car information, but not sure)

Your car needs to have been specced from Factory, adding the button will not add Keyless go.

Hi, you will need to get it on a STAR Mercedes Dianostic machine, they can run a series of tests to confirm ether way.

Have you gone through the process where it learns your voice? you might need to factory reset it, but there is an option for it to learn your voice.
