Even at 1080p the M6 is only 35mbps bitrate compared to 60mbps on the M50, I think it’s because the m6 has the digic 7 compared to the digic 8. I’d definitely go for the M50 because the video looks better even if they’re both shooting at 1080p!
I agree with all of these same things. I did buy an M50 MK II which I love, but I find that I more often reach for the M6. It was my first camera and between the 2 I do prefer the M6. It does take great pics as well as video. Thanks for the video.
M6 has better design, looks more premium and has more dials, but M50 is technically better, has VF and articulated screen. Difficult choice, but I finally got a used M6 for $300 price.
I love my little M50. Love it for RUclips videos and twitch streaming. Would love to see a comparison with the Canon M6 mk II. Thinking about upgrading to that if i want to keep my existing lenses or save up and dive into full frame with the Canon RP or Canon R6.
i agrre with him on the m6 i 'm a very small ytuber who does wresrling videos. and i found that the m6 is great wrestling reviews at 720p or1080 it can fit your needs pretty well that's if you are like me making wresting videos.great video man.
PLEASE HELP!!! I have a Canon EOS M6, but I am going on a safari in a couple weeks and would like to use the same camera base with an adaptor and zoom lens. What would you recommend to get sharp and good photos at a distance?
The Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 lens is a great option, just pretty pricey. Other more budget lenses to look into are the Canon EF 70-300 f4-5.6, and the Canon EF 75-300mm f4-5.6! All will need the Ef to EF-M adapter.
Well, I've checked on eBay for some time now and there are no Canon M6's for $300 as you say. They are about the same money as the M50. At the same price or even if the M50 is a little more I'd buy the M50. Lastly the 2 cameras are not exactly the sale camera. I like your videos and am a subscriber but in this case we don't agree.

Thank you for making this video. I am planning to buy m6 due to its compact size. But for outdoor use, is the LCD usable enough?
Im having issues figuring out which camera I want. M60 , M50 Mark 2, Sl3 or the Canon T8i
I know you said the M6 is cheaper if you buy used but brand new the m50 is cheaper.
Is the autofocus comparable? What about the ISO performance?
M50: 4k+speedbooster+EF optics - right decision.
what lens are you using on this camera brotha ?
The flip up screen is stupid because you can't put a light or microphone on the camera and use the screen to see yourself filming at the same time.
You could get a smallrig with a cold shoe and you’re good if you’re really serious about filming
Bro I want to buy a good camera. So which camera I can buy in 2022 . By budget is below 400kd
Thank You
Hi! At 4:44 what silver lens was that? May I please know. Thank you.
Seems like a viltro 23mm f1.4 for M mount

Damn. The more I learn about the M50, the more I realize how capable it it and the more I realize how it punches way above its weight.
It really does perform great for its price!
