The man was only 24 years old when he was taken and was already a musical genius. I can’t even imagine what he would’ve been able to do if he was still around. He was taken way too soon but he lives on through his music!!

Cliff died when I was 16. I had a Master of Puppets poster on my wall all through high school. When I was 18, I got a pushead tattoo of the pirate on the shirt Jason wore all the time. It was tribute to Cliff. Man, he was awesome. Great video

Love this instrumental. Love the tribute to Cliff who was a great musician and died too young. We lost our bass player also when were all in our 20's. Our band has all scattered out now but we keep in touch almost every day.

They probably still would’ve gone soft but ofc there’d be no commercial bullshit since Cliff hated the idea of that. They probably would’ve stayed a thrash band a little longer and their 4th album would’ve definitely kicked more ass than AJFA

The lyrics to this song are from the book The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. It's about Thomas, an accomplished author turned leper, whose wife recently left with their child out of fear of his illness being contagious. He's miserable to say the least, slowly losing the feeling in his body, and his mind slipping, accepting his doom to rot. One day he's hit by a cop car crossing the street and wakes up in a different world where magic replaces science. He learns that his arrival was no coincidence. He's been summoned as a final champion to destroy a certain evil. But he is in disbelief and can't decide if the world he's been thrust into is a dream, hell, or some kind of continuation

Yea man ,Cliff really honked on that base.he was great.you can see it in the other guys faces after losing cliff,they changed inside I believe.the new guy was probably just a hair overwhelmed hoping to fill such a giant void in a great band.HeavyMetal forever.
Cliff Burton will never be replaced but Danny Trujillo is the best way in my ears because now Metallica is back to metal and not commercialization

It's weird seeing Cliff playing the bass with no bass on this song.
Should have added some pics of Cliff and Dave. They were good friends and remained friends even after Dave was out of Metallica.
Why would you need pics of Cliff and Dave as friends even after he was out of Metallica. Makes no sense. The video is a tribute to Cliff and shows how’s the band carried on without him.
Maybe this was the reason that they buried the bass to this album for the absence of their brother?
