Keep in mind, if water is left stagnant for an extended period, it will turn cloudy, signaling potential spoilage. It's important to note that when the water is left too long, the carrots might lose their flavorful essence, taste (and even turn bitter) even if they appear visually appealing. So I will go for a maximum of two weeks. It can stay longer with constant light (to power the refrigerator) and water replacement. Thank you for bringing up this insightful question 🙏
