Nairn Across Britain - From Leeds to Scotland

On this trip Ian Nairn travels from Leeds to Carlisle on the Settle to Carlisle railway , then visits some of closed stations along the old closed Waverley route before finishing in Edinburgh .
It was interesting to see how my home town of Carlisle has changed since 1972 , the area he filmed at has all been pedestrianised and those underground toilets have been covered over .
And I am not sure it was for the better, it seems so soulless these days, but then is that just the state of every town across Britain now ?
